Had a wonderful fall weekend here! The place was so cozy inside! We loved sitting in the hot tub with the outside temperature so cold or just around the fire talking! The host was amazing This was probably my first rental with such an array of complimentary items! The bathroom was stocked with anything you could have forgotten and more(thankfully because I did forget something!) The coffee/k-cup/tea setup was great and loved the honey sticks!

Just went for a quick weekend to visit friends and although we didn’t take advantage of all the cool things the property had (hot tub/fire pit), it was everything as described. Well appointed, clean with fun decor. All in all a cute place.

This is an amazing find. Cottage was perfect for my family of 6 and our one fur baby. The Hot tub, firepit along with the yard games made for memorable moments. The lake was a very short walk and we enjoyed the Sunrises and Sunsets

Pet friendly and clean!

Perfect little getaway

The Funky Frog and property owner Denise were absolutely amazing. The cabin had everything we needed and more; we’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one literally had everything from scissors and fans to firewood. Denise was quick with responding with any questions or concerns we had and well wishes for our 10 yr wedding anniversary! 😀😀

We took a rustic retreat to the family- budget- and pet-friendly Funky Frog Cabin up north this weekend. Quality time ✔ It was really cozy without feeling cramped. Got to the property around 330 on the Friday after Thanksgiving, checked into the property, walked around, was totally happy with everything looked exactly like he did on the Vrbo site And we had a fantastic weekend! All the appliances were there use the toaster use the stove refrigerator. Everything was really good would definitely make plans to stay up there again next year as we typically go up to northern Michigan Thanksgiving weekend Thanksgiving Denise.

Perfect Cottage for a Small Family!

Our crew really enjoyed our stay at the Funky Frog! Denise was a great host and the property was as described. Definitely a smaller cabin but perfect for our two night stay with two adults, a newborn, and a dog. Outdoor area was great if you wanted to entertain or have friends stop by for the day. Would recommend for a small family looking for a quiet retreat near the best lake in Michigan!

Our names are Keith and Denise. We are parents to two grown daughters. One is married and has given us two precious grandchildren. We have two dogs and two birds. The Funky Frog cabin is our favorite place to escape when we can do so. As we are still working full time, we cannot escape a lot, but we hope to retire there. We love the area, and the people are so friendly.

We happened upon this property and we loved it and its close proximity to the lake and lake access.

We loved the openness of the inside of the cabin. The interior is beautiful, and the high ceilings give the room an air of spaciousness that everyone can enjoy without feeling crowded. We added beauty to the firepit, one of our favorite places on the property, and a fence for the safety of our dogs and grandchildren. Decorating the cabin was so much fun.
