Architect owned/designed 3 bedroom, 2 bath villa in a Two unit complex set in magnificent garden with pool, garage. Furnished with Moroso sofas, antiques, equipped kitchen, WiFi, Smart TV. Romantic dining alfresco, cookhouse has wood burning oven, BBQ.
The space
The villa was designed in the traditional Mykonian style of the 1930s with modern amenities. Designer furniture (sofas and outdoor furniture by Moroso) and architectural antiques (iron beds, garderobes circa 1920) . Fully functioning kitchen with modern electric ceramic topped Korting convection oven, Bosch dishwasher, Nespresso machine, Bodum electric kettle, Krupps toaster, microwave oven, blenders, juicer, Nespresso creamer. Bosch washer, iron and board, LG 42 inches screen smart TV with Netflix, free WiFi. New Carrier Air conditioning throughout, ceiling fans throughout. New mattresses, queen sized beds in all bedrooms. A child cot is also available and a build-in divan in the ground level bedroom. The property is surrounded by mature gardens full of olive trees, lavender, thyme, rosemary bushes, flowers and features cozy dining spaces. The pool is large, (12+meters long), organically designed and blends harmoniously into the surroundings. Covered parking available on the grounds.
Guest access
Access to the unit's verandas and outside dining areas, stoa (entryway shaded area (perfect for hammock), pool seating on wooden lounge chairs and communal stone seating area by the outside shower. Also use of the cookhouse (€80 cleaning fee for BBQ and oven use) and the shaded garage.
Other things to note
Car rental is strongly recommended. Taxis are hard to find. Local bus service to downtown "Hora" town is inconsistent. Caution-avoid motorcycle and ATV rental due too many drink and drive accidents.

Architect designer, owner of the villa. Have been on the island since 1998. This was my family's vacation home among vineyards. Now reside most of the time in the US.

The villa's design was inspired by the traditional Mykonian style of the 1930s which incorporating modern amenities. A true retreat, private from the street, surrounded by mature gardens full of olive trees, lavender, thyme, rosemary bushes, flowers and features alternative dining spaces. The pool is large, organically shaped and blends harmoniously into the surroundings. The villa's location is convenient, and vastly preferred over the busy intensity of Mykonos town. Its rural setting is peaceful and relaxing, but also central on the island such that it is possible to reach almost every place. Thus, going to a different beach each day. 10 mins drive to some of the best beaches on the island and 3 min drive or a fresh10 min walk to the town of Ano Mera. Where you find a supermarket, pharmacy, a lovely town square and lots of restaurants, cafeterias and couple of bars. I recommend reserving a rental car, avoid scooters!

Centrally located with access, through the town of Ano Mera, to Agrari and Super Paradise and Paradise beaches. 8 Km to the main Port Town - Chora, about 30 min with August traffic.
Inside the matured gardens there is exterior cozy cookhouse with a wood burning oven and charcoal BBQ grill. It can be used with a chef and grill master for hire. Enjoy dinners at your veranda overlooking the pool or at the antique marble table under the pepper tree by the villa's courtyard or under the pergola of the cookhouse.
