We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The place is spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, you can tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel at home. The fireplace was a highlight and made the stay extra cozy, especially in the evenings. The views of the lake are stunning and so peaceful. On top of that, the host was super responsive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. Overall, an amazing place and a perfect getaway. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Overall stunning setting, beautiful lake, amazing trees, and a great fock yo sit and enjoy it. Cottage was spacious with plenty of space to enjoy tome together. Greg was very responsive anytime questions arose which was appreciated.

Monck Lake Resort

We were a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids and we had an amazing time! House was beautiful, large, had ample space and was fully stocked. We really enjoyed the dock, lake and all the kayaks and canoes that were included. Would highly recommend for a large group and hope to visit again next summer!

We had a awesome time at this beautiful cottage. Even with so much snow and below freezing weather the cottage was nice and warm. Greg was very friendly and made sure our stay would be smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Cottage stay

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The weather wasn’t the greatest but the facilities and location of the lake were great. It was quiet with not too many motor boats or seadoos which is how we like it. It gives one time to appreciate nature.

This is the second year trip to same cottage

This is our second cottage trip. we choose again same cottage because of the location, property and nice lake, Greg very helpful in arranging the property. the property has gone some more upgrade and new deck by the lake.

Quite Family Escape

A true family cottage experience. The cottage was on a dead end cottage road providing a very quiet week away. Greg was incredibly responsive for all communication throughout the entire process, and provided some great advice about the surrounding area for places to go and things to do. Our entire group enjoyed just resting at the cottage and watching the sun set each evening.

Hosting Douglas and his family was the type of experience I had hoped for with VRBO. We had open communication before arrival, which I really appreciate. He enjoyed his stay and took great care of the property. He left the place in better shape than he found it, and bought a new patio umbrella after wind knocked ours over. I hope all experiences could be like this one.

Nice summer cottage.

A few friends and I stayed at Greg's cottage in June of 2023, and we thoroughly enjoyed the place and the dock. Greg was communicative through the trip, and had many detailed instructions/tips to help us settle in. The dock is new, and i I understand there are even more amenities to be put in place through the summer, so the cottage will be even better for upcoming guests.

Our annual get together with work friends

This was one of the nice get together we ever had. The property was above expectation. It was very clean and fully equipped. It was like our own house, every think from kitchen utensils, garbage bag, books to read, card pack, even there was some play items for small children. There was nice firepit for campfire, and water access with canoe and kayak which we didn’t use it. It looks it was recently renovated. This is our 10th year annual gathering and over all, we really enjoyed. The weather also was really nice last weekend with 28+ in May 14th!!. The host was exceptional in communicating. He even message me on the previous day the weather is good, you could go early and enjoy the stay. Thanks for letting us to use the property, definitely we will visit again in near future. Some of my friends may visit with their family later in the fall.

Beautiful Scenic Views!

We had an awesome stay at this property, and its well worth the money. It's a great getaway, and I would 10/10 recommend any group of friends or family to stay here for the weekend.

The cottage is located on Monck Lake, in the area we refer to as the “Irish Coast”. Our grandfather and his siblings each built their cottages here in the 1950’s and their families are still here.
