Beautiful downtown home tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac and a 5 min walk to Downtown Lafayette and 9 minute walk to the BART station taking you to downtown San Francisco!
Walking distance to everything and kitchen is fully stocked. Master Bedroom has One King Bed, Junior Room has Bunkbeds (Twin).
Note this only has one bathroom. The bathroom has a tub and shower.
Also there is no TV on the property (there is very good WIFI however)
There is a parking space for 2 cars (outside, no garage parking)

Home with character and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming home. It was perfectly located very close to downtown Lafayette and walking distance to the reservoir. If you’re looking to spend time enjoying Lafayette, this is a great choice.

Great spot

Great little house to use as a home base to enjoy Lafayette. Quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen, comfortable bed and nice yard for the dogs. Communication with the owner was seamless. If you need to use the AC - just push hard on the on button until you hear the beep- that was the only issue I had - but once I figured it out, it worked great. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Suburban Get Away

Every VRBO has pros and cons. This location checked every box. The beds were comfy, social areas were setup nicely with seating / games, and the location was great. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Local shops served amazing coffee and croissants. Additionally, we were a short drive from all types of entertainment. This gave us a great opportunity to take in NorCal and the Bay Area. Definitely recommend.

Convenient location, comfortable, well stocked

This property is conveniently close to downtown and to the Lafayette-Moraga regional trail for walking and bike riding. The kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully well-stocked with kitchenware and cooking and bathing essentials. The place isn't big, but it is very comfortable. We were able to work using the fast wi-fi when we weren't out riding our bikes or visiting family. The seating areas inside and out are comfortable. The fenced area worked for our small dog. Great for a couple or family with young kids. Also worked for an adult on the lower bunk, although it was a bit short for our 6+foot tall son. The host is friendly and thoughtful. We would certainly rent again.

Great little cottage

Small, but prefect location and great shared space. We spent Christmas here, used the kitchen extensively and really enjoyed the space. The outdoor space is really awesome, but mostly it was too cold and wet for us the enjoy. You are in someone’s home, so you should be aware of that - but we will definitely stay here again. Perfect location and great communication with owner - highly responsive.

Home away from Home

We had such a nice stay while we were in town visiting our college aged son! The house was perfect for us, and Rebecca was an incredible host going far above and beyond. We visit often and will come back again!! 💕

Would love to come back

Great location to the restaurants and shops in Lafayette and easy access to Hwy 24 for trips in all directions. The bed in the master was super comfortable. The listing is accurate, but it was all the extras Rebecca provided that made it that much better. The kitchen was nicely stocked (cookware, utensils) and the refrigerator and cabinets were nicely stocked if you wanted to fix a meal and eat in occasionally - eggs, bread, jam, butter, soda, spices, herbs, and fresh fruit. The coffee bar allowed you to use your own grounds or Keurig type pods. Seating in the kitchen and living room was comfortable. Lots of windows so it was nice and bright. Rebecca was very accommodating and checked in with us after the first day to make sure we had what we needed. We won’t need to look further for a place to stay on our next visit to the area.

Cute House

Cute house within walking distance to restaurants and shopping yet private and quiet. The home is decorated for Halloween which we loved and was a fun surprise. There is a front yard for games and back patio to relax. The home is well equipped and our hostess was great. We had an enjoyable long weekend and plan to return soon!

Perfect Location

Lafayette, California is a lovely town with an actual town center. This property is a short 1/2 mile walk to the BART station to travel into San Fran. One of our party used BART to travel to Lafayette from the SF airport. We could walk to restaurants, shops, library, Whole Foods, and Trader Joes.

Wonderful!

Fabulous host, great communication, received check-in instructions well in advance, absolutely adorable cottage tucked away off the beaten path, quiet location, just perfect for my hubby and I. We didn’t do any cooking, just basically slept here, had coffee and then left to spend time with family. But we will definitely stay here again on our next visit in a few months. Thank you again Rebecca!

Home away from home

This small cozy cottage was the perfect place for us to stay, the place was very clean, it's within 5 minutes walking distance to rail, bus, restaurants, supermarkets. We will definitely contact this property manager again when we visit the bay area.
