Great location near Monument Health Hospital. All new furnishings. Very clean, comfortable, with large back yard. Close to restaurants, 1 mi. from downtown. Great base camp for visiting the Black Hills. Traveling nurses and families visiting people in hospital are welcome. New VRBO listing - 5 rating on other sites.

Rapid City

Although being centrally located, we did encounter issues which should have been resolved prior to our arrival. Air conditioning made it totally impossible to sleep downstairs. To keep temperature adequate upstairs, it was absolutely freezing downstairs. Dishwasher had dirty dishes in it upon our arrival. Pot holders were dirty. Utensil drawer had food crumbs in it; therefore we had to wash utensils. Refrigerator and pantry had opened and used food products in both. Electrical outlet in upstairs did not work. Living room needs to have a liner behind the see through curtain. Upstairs bathroom sink stopper did not work. Downstairs bathroom sink stopper was missing.
Stopper didn’t work; we used a knife to keep it open.
We washed all utensils due to drawer having food crumbs in it.

We stayed in this home because of it being very close to the BMX track where we attended a national race event.The home was nice and had what we needed.

Very nice home

Very nice house. Tons of space, very clean. Great location and lovely views. Only downside the bottom floor bathroom door didn't lock and the host didn't see it as much of a problem. Multi family trip so awkward. Had a good stay till the last day. My fault I messed up our reservation and meant to book another day and didn't realize I hadn't. My phone started having issues with its SIM card so I didn't get the messages from the host that we hadn't checked out . We returned to the house two hours after checkout time The cleaning lady who lives next door and came over to talk to us several times was there and panicking. We panicked too. We frantically threw things into the car. We had laundry going and had to find a new place to stay but in an hour we were out. We still stripped the beds and put TV remotes in place. We knew we had put the cleaning lady behind so we took out all the trash, swept the kitchen, wiped off the table and counters. Then we asked if we could help her with anything else. She said she was all caught up and not to worry about a thing. I showed her that my phone would not make phone calls apologized multiple times and asked her to tell the host how sorry we were for the mess up. When I received the late charge I asked if it could be waived and was told no which was fair cuz it was our fault but the reply came with a long msg detailing all the inconveniences we had caused and saying he was 20 minutes from calling the police. Sorry for the mess up

Great location

Close to Mount Rushmore, Bear Country, and other attractions. The house was clean and well stocked. It was a great rental. I’d highly recommend it.

Get away to see the national parks

The house was clean. Met our needs completely. Great washer dryer. Well stocked kitchen . Near the hospital and that for me was a little disturbing as I have worked in healthcare and tuned into that…on me only. Neighborhood was fine. We would stay there again.

Cute and convenient

Clean, centrally located. Great space and accommodations. Lots of extras such as laundry, plenty of dishes, blankets, kitchen utensils and bathroom needs.

Rapid City getaway

The house was clean, roomy & comfortable. Close to a school and very busy street. There were a couple issues with appliances that I notified the owner about right away for awareness in case fixes needed to be done for other guests. He replied to my first message about the refrigerator (which ended up to be fine) but never replied to my final message about a noise in the furnace room right before we checked out. We never heard from him again.

South Dakota Get A Way

This is old and not in very good shape. We fought spiders in this house from day one. There is better neighbor hoods to stay. Needs a good cleaning and painting. We were not happy with this house at all.

Conveniently located

This place was conveniently located. This was our base as we travel all around to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Devils tower. Well stocked and clean.

Perfect for our vacation

Every thing was perfect for our Vacation In Rapid City and Black Hills for 2 adults and 3 kids 5-13 years, from beginnning until end. House was exatly as shown on the pictures spacy and well equipet, and very clean, good quiet location, with good acces to the city and to the Balck Hills. Dan (the host) was very helpfull and flexible in our planing of our stay, and Maureen (Cleaning Lady) who lived next door was super helpfull during our stay. Thanks to Dan and Maureen.

Great location for Rapid City area attractions

This house is centrally located for all Rapid City and surrounding attractions! Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds, very quiet neighborhood. Communication with owner is top notch. This house was extremely well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for our family of six. This is actually the first VRBO we’ve stayed at that didn’t have expired condiments and spices…greatly appreciated!! That speaks to attention to detail in my opinion. We would definitely stay here again!

Softball tournament

Perfect location and property for our in town softball tournament. Older house but perfect for everything we needed! Beds were so comfortable. Fans in all the rooms. Plenty of pillows. Condiments in the fridge! Perfect!

Great location for family Black Hills trip

This property suited our family of 6 very well and was reasonably priced. It was centrally located to all the parks and attractions we planned to visit in and around Rapid City/the Black Hills.

Rapid City fall break

Affordable, great family space with opportunity to spread out to relax and play games. A reasonable drive to Wind Cave National Park and Badlands National Park which were both great adventures. Wonderful trip!

Badlands, Black Hill and Besties

We spent a long weekend exploring the majesty of the many national parks. This house in Rapid City was the perfect location to use as home base: quiet and residential while being close to main highways. The house was as described with plenty of space for a large group to spread out - the 3 of us used 1/2 the house. Hello. My wife and I are moving to the Black Hills. We have 2 rentals on VRBO and other sites and another rental home nearby. One of our sons is a Rapid City Police Officer and lives a few blocks away. This particular house is awesome, very clean, well maintained, and all new furniture. We stay here when we are visiting as we are building a home 20 minutes away. Dan & Gretchen

Great location about a mile from downtown Rapid City which has a vibrant city center. This street has less traffic and is close to Monument Health and convenient for traveling nurses or families who are visiting loved ones in the hospital.
