Luxury Lakefront Retreat with Breathtaking Views, Two Decks, Kayaks and More!

Built in 2020, this custom-designed Adirondack retreat blends upscale living with rustic charm. From reclaimed wood accents and a handmade Caroga pine dining table to heated floors and a grand lake-facing wall of windows, every detail was intentionally crafted for comfort and connection.

The open kitchen features stainless appliances and a rolling island for flexible prep and gathering space. Downstairs, enjoy a serene primary suite with a queen bed, tile shower, heated towel rack, and cozy lake views.

Upstairs includes 3 additional bedrooms, a full bath, and access to a stunning upper deck — the perfect place to take in unobstructed lake and mountain views at any hour of the day.

Please note: As with many homes near the lake, we use a private well. At times there may be a faint sulfur smell — this is safe and a normal part of lakeside living.

Great time

House was beautiful. The kitchen had everything and more to make family dinners a fun and shared experience. The lake was beautiful and neighbors very friendly.

Our Son's Wedding

Our Son has a Camp on Canada Lake and just loves this area - his camp was full with the grooms men and the brides mades rented Pine Lake Lodge which was also the venue we rented a huge tent and had a great caterer - 200 people - your HOME was wonderful I had my 80 year old parents, my other daughter and her fiance and another daugther in the house and we couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The accomdations were wonderful, the house was greatly appointed and we wanted for nothing and were close to eveything - we know the area very well that was helpful. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Home was beautiful. Check in was stressful. We asked owner for access code when we were in transit. We never received it. We fortunately found someone at the closed Marina across the street pulling out a boat who made several calls to find owner to get code. Marina owner was trying to find us somewhere else to stay as they were afraid we wouldn’t find owner. Very stressful for our family after 4 hour drive to house in a remote area. Roku did not work initially. We sent message and it was reset in middle of night. First night did not go well between no check in code and Roku issue. Otherwise we had a nice stay. Home is right on lake. Nice fire pit. Beds are comfortable and bidet was nice perk. Home has kayaks. Life vests need replacing.

Family Gathering

We had multiple family members from across the country return to our matriarch’s home town following her passing to celebrate her 96 years of life. This home (and it is a home, not like just a rental) was perfect for us to gather in comfort at a difficult time to share memories, laugh, cry, relax and rejuvenate. The setting on the lake was so peaceful. We had every amenity we could need, just like we were staying with friends. Home cooked meals and time spent around the fireplace or the fire pit by the lake helped our hearts and made new memories to ease our sadness. We were fortunate to have a brief break of beautiful spring weather and can imagine this is an awesome getaway in the summer months on the lake or the winter months for snow play. We would highly recommend it for your trip.

All the bells and whistles!

Everything they said would be there WAS there, in perfect shape. We wanted for nothing! It was comfort, for example there was air conditioning. Everything was in tip top condition. Info said 3 kayaks and a paddle board - they were there - perfect condition. Epitome of "glamping". Kids loved the swimming because it was not deep for a long way out to a floating dock. Access to two lakes, one in your front yard and one a literal "kayak minute" away! A one minute walk to a marina if we wanted another kayak or any kind of boat. Prices extremely reasonable. Adorable country convenient stores. Gorgeous views, area, very nice neighbors. Could not ask for anything more. Campfire next to water, beautiful Adirondack chairs and umbrellas, wood provided. S'mores we provided. It was an extremely comfortable, old fashioned family vacation. We felt so connected to the owners, without ever seeing or knowing them, because they treated us as if we were their family, providing everything for us. Did I mention the adorable ducks and loons? We swam, we kayaked, we played games, we climbed a mountain, we sang around the campfire, we walked to the old Amusement Park soon to be a world renowned musical arts destination. Everybody waves and says, "hello". And oh yes they have WIFI and we were able to watch PBS one afternoon, which was a miracle because we were so busy. The kids phones worked. We felt very safe . Being former firefighters ourselves, we have trained with the first responders there and even though, it's 20 minutes from a hospital, we knew if we needed emergency care it was there in a heartbeat. looking at the stars at night, and the lighted ferris wheel, and carousel across the light was just plain heart warming. Check times for the carousel, ferris wheel is for the memories only. BTW, you can fish in either lake. There was a fishing tournament on when we were there. So much more but running out of space. THANK YOU TO THE WONDERFUL, THOUGHTFUL OWNERS.

Relaxing family getaway

My family (6 adults) and 2 kids (ages 10, 12) had a great family getaway here! We stayed 4 nights & had more than enough to entertain us! House is fully stocked with anything kitchen wise you can think of, games etc. Kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, roasting s’mores by the fire, less than an hour drive to Howe Caverns or Cooperstown. We even rented a pontoon boat from the marina which is directly across the street! The guys also played 18 holes at Nick Stoner golf course! Major supermarkets are about 15 mins away but Campers Corner Store & Caroga Lake View Store have all necessities including full menu of breakfast, lunch, & dinners, as well as the Dollar General Store. The lake was so clean & refreshing! Our family loves the Adirondacks & Caroga Lake is a small, quiet, peaceful lake to relax on & good for fishing too! We loved sitting on upper deck of the house reading, having our morning coffee, or just taking in the beautiful view! Upstairs beds are a little small (doubles) with harder mattresses, but rest of the house & amenities made up for it! Friendly neighbors as well as anyone you come across in town! If you are looking for an updated, modern, beautiful house directly on the lake, away from the hustle & bustle of touristy destinations, you will not be disappointed with this rental!
