It was our yearly sibling gathering for the holidays and we usually do a large rental to accommodate all of us siblings and kids. This year we were also gathering for the funeral of a brother. While only some family stayed at the home, friends and family from Bellingham, Portland, Buckley, even Idaho and Texas came for meals, visiting, and games. Everyone commented on how spacious and comfortable it was. I liked that it was a little isolated from neighbors, with so many people coming and going it could get annoying for neighbors. The house was on large enough property that I didn’t worry, but close to everything we needed. I only wish it was pet friendly. We had one guest that didn’t realize it wasn’t and showed up with a small dog. Arrangements were made quickly, but it was stressful for a moment. We would definitely stay again.

Family retirement celebration

Celebrating retirement after a 44 1/2 year career with the same company, for my husband! Our family of 16 - 9 adults/7 grandchildren, loved the spacious farmhouse, and grounds. So family friendly! Highly recommend .

Family Time in the Country

This home was perfect for our family of 16! We stayed for four days the first week of August. The layout of the house provided enough space for us to be together for meals or TV watching, and yet when we wanted to have some alone time, we could do that, too. We loved the wraparound porch and the beautiful grounds The house was clean and well maintained. The host contacted me prior to our arrival to let me know that the dishwasher was broken, and he graciously provided enough paper plates, bowls, cups, and plastic ware to accommodate our needs. We would definitely highly recommend this property!

This large house was just perfect for our family stay in Washington. It's about an hour outside the city, close to shopping and eating in Tacoma, and an hour from MT Rainer. GREAT LOCATION!

The Perfect Place

We were 4 adults and 7 kids and everyone had their own space inside and out. The house had everything and more than we needed. The owner was responsive and worked with us when we submitted a request. Thank you John for making it a wonderful weekend for all.

Our family’s reunion, over the Christmas holiday, at this charming, historic, and creatively updated “Retreat” was purely delightful. The accommodations met and exceeded our needs. It was also conveniently located to all the goods and services we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect for family gathering

The space was perfect for our large family. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the 3rd floor "play area", and the older adults enjoyed the kitchen and living space on the main floor. Lots of room for everyone. Well equipped kitchen to cook. It felt very secluded, like we were far away from civilization, but we were near all sorts of amenities and grocery stores etc. We loved this place and will be staying again!

Family Friendly

The Farmhouse gave us a tucked away feeling, all the while being very close to everything in the Puyallup / Bonny Lake area. It was comfortable and worked for our extended family and friends that had gathered for a nearby wedding.

Terrific space for a large family

This modern farmhouse was so confortable and inviting. It accomidated 9 adults, a toddler and an infant with room to spare. We all felt at home!

Perfect locations and amenities for our wedding weekend

We stayed in this well appointed home for the weekend as our Daughter was married at The Kelly Farm. There was plenty of room to sleep and the play room was a hit with our 21/2 year old granddaughter. The home is so beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We are so grateful you had a last minute cancellation so that we could stay..... the location was great for our many trips back and forth from the venue to the home. Loved it!!!

Family wedding weekend

This property was perfect for our stay. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Absolutely beautiful location. The owner was the best host we have ever rented from. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Hoping we’ll be able to take advantage of another weeks stay on our next trip to Lake Tapps area. Perfect!!
