1st Floor Mountain Retreat - Cozy - Views - 5 minutes to Steamboat Resort!

This completely remodeled, one bedroom, one bath condo on the first floor (NO STAIRS) of The Rockies is the perfect retreat for a couple or a family with small children.

Newly painted and refreshed, this condo features and open living/kitchen area with plush sleeper sofa, bar seating, gas fireplace and private patio. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to dine in or make a quick snack, and if you open the drapes of the sliding glass door you'll have one of the best views of the mountain as your backdrop.

The bedroom has a comfortable king bed, and mountain view. The bathroom is located just outside in the hallway and has a walk in shower. The sofa sleeper pulls out for another queen bed.

The Rockies complex is just 400 yards to the base of the ski area and Gondola Square (5 minute walk). It has a large heated pool, 2 hot tubs, gas BBQ grilling area, very large parking lot and yard. In summer, there is a sand volleyball court in back.

Complimentary Winter Shuttle Service to the mountain and downtown.

A/C: NO ( The Vast Majority of units in Steamboat do not have A/C and it is usually not needed. Fans Available in the unit. )

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CARS ALLOWED: 1 per unit only. No trailers allowed!

No Pets. (Although there are reviews from renters with pets, our policy has changed and pets are not allowed.)

No parties/events. No smoking.

Great place

Great location, close to shuttle for skiing, and unit is convenient first floor location making it easy to carry in bags from vehicle. Hot tub also convenient walk from condo. Snug for our family of four though will definitely come back

Small but mighty!

This condo was small, but great for a couple. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. The bus line was about a football field away to get you to the gondola of you don't feel like walking with your gear. 2 very minor issues- the fireplace would not cut back on at the designated temp, so we would leave it on 90 when at the condo and 50 when gone. Laundry is NOT in the unit, rather a common area coin operated one, across the parking lot from the hot tub. There was tons of closet space and dresser space available to store our things. We would definitely come back and stay here if the occasion arises!

Small, but Mighty Indeed!

Great spot. We rented the unit for an extended stay with our two pre-teen daughters. Location is perfect, loved the pool and it is extraordinarily well-appointed. We cooked a fair amount and the kitchen had everything we wanted. Bed and pullout sofa were comfy and everything is nicely updated. There was an issue with the electricity and heat the first night, but Tara was all over it and bought us dinner to boot. We’d stay again for sure!

Spring break ski week

Great property for couple or family w/ younger kids. Easy access to the mountain and town via the two bus stops right out side the condo.

Very crowded for 4 adults

The online listing identified the small square footage. However, it was made worse by large furniture. Says it sleeps 5 but only 3 places for people to eat at counter. To use pull out sleeper a coffee and table had to be moved. Once the sleeper was out it was almost impossible to walk in the room. This would be a great place for two people. Right on shuttle line for resort.

Corky, cute place

Corky, cute place. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. We were able to make full meals with no problem. Bed was extremely comfortable. There were extra blankets and pillows in the closet. The humidifier was a great extra. Shower did not lack pressure. Space was tight. Room was tight. Bathroom was tight. Worked nicely for myself and my boyfriend. Would definitely come here again.

Labor Day Retreat

Great spot for our Family of three. We were able to walk to the base of the mountain every morning for coffee and our little one enjoyed playing in the stream. It was close to the bike path that takes you downtown and there was a nice green area right outside the condo to let our little one play in and of course the pool was a big hit.

Great Steamboat Condo

Clean and well outfitted condo. Close to mountain and town, comfortable bed, good wifi, cable options and kitchen had everything you need. Hope to return for a ski weekend.

Great location.

The Rockies is a nice place to stay for a few days. The pool and hot tubs are well maintained. There are 2 bus stops and easy walk to skiing.

Steamboat Revisit

We had lived in Steamboat Springs a while back and decided we would revisit this winter. Tara's place (Ike & Betty 3.0) was just a perfect place for a one week reminisce and ski. Great location to the mountain with the local bus stop adjacent to the building, and close enough for a nice walk to the base area. Nicely equipped kitchen and good storage for all that we packed. And we were pleasantly surprised that we had a wonderful view of the ski hill from the living room! It is a very comfortable one bedroom unit for any traveling couple. And Carmel, our traveling pup, enjoyed her stay as well!
