Stone cottage Dordogne, Périgord noir, between Sarlat and Bergerac

Recently renovated cottage, first opening for the 2023 season, created by us in an old stone drying shed. Our 56 m² cottage "Le séchoir" faces due south and is accessed via 5 steps onto a wooden terrace reserved exclusively for tenants. Barbecue, griddle & dedicated sun loungers. The cottage is attached to the owners' house but with no overlooking or disturbances whatsoever, and they know how to be discreet! For our biker friends, there is the possibility of parking motorcycles safely and sheltered. Sunday to Sunday rentals are available to avoid traffic jams! Inside, you will find all the comforts, bathed in natural light: A living room, a dining area and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, free Wi-Fi. Two bedrooms, one with a 160 x 200 cm double bed and the other with two single beds. 90 x 200 cm bedrooms, each equipped with a large wardrobe. Beds made upon arrival. A bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower, ideally overlooked by a skylight. Separate toilet. Large south-facing swimming pool, shared with the owners from June to September. Sun loungers reserved for guests. The cottage is not suitable for children under 8 years old; see terrace and pool safety guidelines. Our cottage is located near the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, at the gateway to the Périgord Noir and Bergerac regions. Beach for swimming, 6 minutes away, and shops, 4 minutes away. Nearby, you will also find various tourist attractions and activities (Aquarium, Proumeyssac chasm, canoeing, treetop adventure courses, golf, etc.). Within a 20 km radius, there are numerous castles (Comarque, Beynac, Les Milandes de Joséphine Baker, etc.) as well as the main prehistoric caves (Lascaux, Rouffignac, Maxanges, etc.). Finally, come and discover our many farmers' markets and taste the Périgord cuisine. End-of-stay cleaning is available for €60 if you do not wish to do it yourself. For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are unfortunately not allowed.
