Waterfront property on pond with private dock .

Weekly vacation rental on Perkins Pond with sandy beach and dock for power boat. A cleaning fee and taxes apply. House is rented from Saturday to Saturday. Enjoy coffee on the deck overlooking Perkins Pond at Sunrise or maybe later. Greet the Ducks, Geese and Loons during their morning cruises. Then there’s plenty of time for a swim in the warm water. This shallow pond warms quickly in Spring and is good for swimming until late September unlike the deeper nearby lakes. Perkins Pond offers 160 acres for fishing, water skiing, tubing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing and is seldom crowded. The largest resident powerboat is 23’. We suggest 20’ maximum. A picnic lunch on the lawn or deck will likely include waves and greetings from friendly neighbors as they enjoy their yards and boats. Gas and charcoal grills as well as picnic tables and lots of chairs are provided. An evening fire in the Chiminea is a great place to gather after a fun day. The game room has a pool table, foosball and air hockey for rainy days and after dark. There are 3 bedrooms with AC. One has a king bed and the other 2 have queens. The Great Room has a queen pull-out sofa-bed. Other amenities include: Washer/Dryer Full-size electric range, Dishwasher Microwave Two TV’s with Xfinity Cable, Internet and unlimited calls in the US. Two refrigerators. Full complement of kitchen ware and Central station fire alarm Our home is no smoking, vaping or pets. Our local agent will be the host.

Perkins Pond rental

We enjoyed a relaxing week here. Unfortunately the weather was cool and wet much of the time, but we still got to do some boating, fishing, and swimming.

Perfect vacation on Perkins Pond!

Nothing like a relaxing week on Perkins Pond. The property was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean and well updated and had all of the accommodations we needed for a relaxing week. The host and property manager were very responsive. It was a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly. Perfect location to kayak, float on a tube on Perkins Pond and close to great hiking and Lake Sunapee attractions. Good local restaurants and a fully furnished kitchen and outdoor grills for eating in. We would definitely return again for another vacation!

Very clean property house is equipped with everything you need

The house is very roomy for the size. All guess slept comfortably. The kids enjoyed swimming out to the dock with the slide also playing in the game room. Very quiet place nice for relaxing. Yard is little small but good for corn hole and other small games The outside chimenea was big plus in the evening for cooking marshmallows And having a couple drinks.

Nice and quiet.

Kids had fun exploring the water and riding bikes. Crazy how quite the area is. I would just make a small suggestion on the garbage. I shouldn't have to go to the local dump. Must be a dump run person around. I have like 6 in my smaller town I live in.

Quiet, clean, safe and remote getawat

We had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans cutlery. Easy and shallow access to water. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of outdoor and indoor furniture. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Two down sides - no watercraft( paddleboads, kayaks) and one bathroom for six people can be limiting. But, that's a minor inconvenience compared to the clean, fresh and nice house. Pool tables, football and air hockey was a great plus. So we're two refrigerators.

We did not advertise that we were providing watercraft ( kayaks and paddleboards). There are local rentals available and will put a list of them on the refrigerator before next season starts. Thank you for your idea.

Perkins Pond stay

Perkins Pond is quiet during the week and perfect for kayaking and fishing. This house is very close to the neighbors. During the week it was pretty quiet, but less serene on the weekend. Beware - garbage removal is NOT a part of the rental. The expectation is that renters bring their trash to the transfer station, which does detract from feeing like a vacation. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Our family had a lot of fun playing pool each evening. This was a great house for staying with teenagers.

We will put clear instructions on the refrigerator for next season. We have been trying to find a local trash hauler who would do seasonal trash pick-up but have not had any luck so far. Beautiful spot but a few issues

The pond is beautiful and peaceful. The house has plenty of room and lots of nice outdoor furniture. Housekeeping was so so. Check in was confusing as we were told one thing and it changed when we arrived. As another review said, the neighbors are right on top of you, no privacy. What really bothered us was prior to going we asked the property manager if it was possible to bring our dogs and we were told no. After our stay, we were accused of bringing them! Total nonsense.

Thank you for your review of our property. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We were surprised about your comments about the cleaning as the cleaner has always been very thorough. With the exception of a few properties on the pond, all of the houses are quite close together. Being close to our neighbors has never been a problem as the neighbors are pleasant to the tenants as well as the tenants are good to the neighbors. In regard to the issue of a dog, our house is clearly listed on VRBO as not accepting pets. When the cleaner came in she thought there was white fur all over the living room floor which is what prompted the phone call to you. On closer inspection it did not appear to be dog hair and it is unclear what it was. Your wife had contacted our property manager and host for the house to say that you had a really good time during your vacation on Perkins Pond and would like to purchase a house on the pond if possible. She was provided with the names and contact numbers of several realtors who could could assist you with finding a house on the pond. We hope you are able to find one that you like. Would Return In A Heartbeat

This was a lovely, immaculate, spacious and comfortable home. It had a wonderfully well equipped kitchen, with quality cookware and kitchen accessories. The large cable TV was appreciated as was the WIFI.. The view from the deck, which was equipped with great deck furniture, was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, lighting throughout was great and furnishings were in excellent condition. The host was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is that the entryway and the game/garage room (which young people would love) were very musty. However, once you were inside the house, it was ABSOLUTELY fine. This problem could be because there was record rain, heat and humidity during our stay and possibly the week prior to our stay. We did not need to use the room, so it was not an issue for us.
