We spent a week at this wonderful, peaceful property at the end of July with our two teenage sons, the layout of the property was ideal with the boys having their own rooms and bathroom upstairs while we were had the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.The grounds and the pool were perfect for enjoying the amazing weather with great views of the rolling countryside and across to the Lac du Brûlon.There is plenty of choice of things to do in the area with Le Mans only 25 minutes away. The Lac du Brulon is only two minutes drive away where you can swim, kayak and paddle board and on Tuesday evenings there is a small artisan market and classic car gathering.Brulon has a small convenience store and a Boulangerie, if you need a bigger supermarket there is a Super U about 7 minutes away towards Loue in Mareil-en-Champagne.The hosts Hugues and Sybille were friendly and welcoming and spoke excellent English which was a great help.The house was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break in the French countryside and we would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in a comfortable family home with plenty of space, both inside and outside.
