Leaf 🍁 Peeping is here! Relax with us this fall! ☕️🍂🏡 🏠 Our beautiful victorian home in the heart of downtown Lead. Our home is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Walk 130 year old stairs and original hardwood floors. The home was restored in the summer of 2021, it is porch sitting at it's finest cool front porch in the evening & large back deck to enjoy free coffee & tea in the morning. Come experience downtown Lead you can walk to restaurants, bars, bakery on main street & have a beer at the local brewery.

The property has more to offer than the description. Spacious rooms on every floor. All the amenities you can think of were in place for our convenience. Plenty of coffee options to get kickstarted in a kitchen that has everything thing you want on a trip. The owners went out of their way to provide info for us to make our trip that much better. I liked the black board wall with tips for travellers to the area. Fantastic restaurants steps away from the fro t door and a comfortable back deck to allow us to sit around and plan the next day. It felt like a privilege to have opportunity to stay at the residence of historical relevance to the area. Beds were very comfortable, and all rooms had their own AC units. If you are on a bike trip to the Black Hills, this is the perfect home base. This hoE allows you to pack a little lighter as there are a washer dryer set on site.

We had a great time in South Dakota! The house is really cool, It is a good mix of modern and historic. The house was centrally located for all the activities we wanted to do. Deadwood is a few minutes down the road. Spectacular nature views everywhere. Owner was quick to respond when we had a question. Not a huge list of chores to do when we checked out. Appreciated that since we were on vacation.

Beautiful historic home

Clean home, rich with history and all modern conveniences. Close to many attractions. Communication with Tera was fantastic and check in/out was super easy. Would love to return to explore more in the area.

Motorcycle rally

Tera was the best host I have ever dealt with and I have booked a lot of homes. She always responded quickly and was very helpful. The house was beautiful and close to everything. When we come back I hope we can stay there again. Thanks Tera Kim

This is a great house steeped in history and course to Deadwood and downtown Lead. Within an hours drive to so many attractions and historical places.

Amazing!

We were here for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Tera was so helpful and communicated with us prior to our stay and at check out. The house is just the best and has everything in it to make it a home. We were so comfortable! The location is perfect with many places to walk to for entertainment, drinks, and food. We will definitely be back!

2 day stop

We booked this home as we were traveling to Yellowstone but needed to stop for two days to take care of our business payroll and take the family to Mount Rushmore. The home was everything we needed and checked all the boxes. The property manager was fantastic and very attentive. I would recommend this property. We utilize a lot of VRBO properties for our travels and this was just as described.

Felt like home

We loved how we were made to feel like this was "OUR" home during our stay, as opposed to just some place to stay. Our host, Tera, was always available for any questions or concerns. Loved the feel of the home. Only thing that wasnt qreat was having to climb the stairs all the time, but thats on us becuz of our own body pain 🙃. Layout was beautiful and very confortable. The upstairs tub is quite literally only a tub, best used for relaxation and such. (No shower curtain going around it) Would definitely stay here again!!!

Christmas vacation ski trip

Great property spacious for the size!

The property was in a good location and was very spacious for what we expected! We had some communication with the host and she was very quick in response and was very helpful! We loved the care put into the stay! Highly recommend! Parking was one of the only real issues that was unsure.

Historic Lead House

This house was very comfortable, extremely neat house that is being restored. Very comfortable to hang out at. Definitely would recommend staying here.

I love to restore & learn the history of the house/owners. Lead's Mining History is very cool, we at steps from the Mining Museum. I have been there 25 times at least!!
