We are close to Wimberley and Canyon Lake on the beautiful Blanco Rapids Ranch right on the Blanco River. You'll enjoy a picturesque setting with river access, hiking trails, pickle ball court and relaxation. We are well stocked, excellently decorated and wonderfully comfortable. We are good for couples, families with kids, solo adventurers and anyone looking to recharge.

Step into the Longhorn Suite at Blanco Rapids Ranch and instantly experience comfort and tranquility. Whether you're a family looking for some quality time or a couple wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city living, Blanco Rapids Ranch is a dream come true.

There are 3 patios with dining space and Charcoal/Gas Grill to make cooking even easier. There are 2 cabins with 2 private suites per cabin. River access is just down a stairway and an easy walk to the river. A car is needed to get to/from the ranch. There is a round driveway near the Longhorn Suite that is the best place to park for this suite. Property is located 2.5 miles down a private road on a beautiful part of the Blanco River. The property is in Wimberley, Hays County but the entrance is in Fischer, Comal County. Please feel free to call or text should you need help. Property is located between Wimberley, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and Gruene. It is best to pick up supplies at the Brookshire Brothers in Canyon Lake or the H-E-B in Wimberley before coming out. There are restaurants in the area but you'll want to have some food on hand as we are not close enough for any food delivery services.

Peaceful Getaway

The property was beautiful and so relaxing. We enjoyed every moment of it. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Already planning a summer trip with the kids.

Five Star all the way

The Blanco Rapids Ranch gets five stars from me across the board. It is a beautiful place, was extremely clean, great location and the property manager communicated well from the directions to property and to everything we needed while at property. I will go back, it was a wonderful experience.

The property is beautiful! So serene and picturesque. The room was as advertised and clean. The bathroom area is great because it has a large vanity area outside of the toilet/shower area. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, would be that there weren’t enough pillows for the beds. There were 4 of us and the property charged an extra 20 per person for our extra 2 people. The trundle bed has zero pillows on it. I found one pillow on the shelf and my friend used a pillow sham from the king bed. The pillow I slept with was awful! It was flat and hard and I woke with a crick in my neck. We loved the experience other than that and would recommend the owners purchase a few new nice pillows especially if they know and are charging extra for 2 extra people even though the place is advertised as sleeping 4. If it’s advertised as sleeping 4, 4 should be included in the price listed in my opinion, but if you’re going to charge extra, then you should make sure the accommodations are comfortable for that many people. We loved the sweet dog Lucy, that lives on the property and everything else about our stay and the problems can easily be resolved by buying some pillows!

Great getaway!

We loved this place! It was our first time to be at Blanco Rapids Ranch. Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and beautiful! We enjoyed hanging out at the river. The water was clear and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

We have lived in Wimberley for 40+ years and on the Blanco River for 20+ years. Our community and the Blanco River are precious to us. It truly is a "Little Bit of Heaven" as the sign says coming into town.

This section of the Blanco River is vast and fabulous with some deep water, shallow water and rapids in the middle which is a favorite hang out place. The property is exceptionally peaceful and beautiful and very well maintained. We know you will enjoy your stay here.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The pickleball court was recently installed and all equipment is here for guest to use. There is also basketball available on same court. The patio and grilling/dining areas overlooking the river are fabulous! Come and enjoy!
