Amazing Onset Getaway in the Starfish Suite

The spacious and comfortable Starfish Suite is in an amazing location just steps away from Onset Beach, village, boat rentals, market, & restaurants! Located on the second floor of a renovated Sea Captain's house, this large apartment gets great natural light. A/C is included in all bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen. Fiber WiFi & Smart TV. Nice covered deck with park and bay views. One of the very best locations in Onset! It's the perfect spot for a beach getaway or family vacation.

For your safety and convenience everything is operated via keycode. There is a fire suppression/sprinkler system outfitted throughout the building. There are security cameras at the building's front entrance and in the building's common hallway (none inside the apartment). We provide a dedicated parking spot in our parking lot for you (along with 2 parking passes for additional street parking).

We are dog friendly! If bringing a pet please list them on the reservation. Our pet fee is $20 per pet per day.

**Onset is a highly desirable location. The village is very walkable with many nice beaches and parks, as well as great restaurants and water activities. Local activities (walking distance to the house) include: 3 beautiful parks, beautiful beaches, outdoor concert area, kayak, SUP, or boat rentals, Canal cruises, fishing, and playground area. You can also walk to the market, post office, village shops, and restaurants. There's also a water park, mini golf, and other activities a short drive away! It is central to many areas of interest: Very close to the rest of Cape Cod, 20 min to the ferries for Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket, 25 minutes to historic Plymouth, 1 hr to Provincetown, 1 hr to Boston, 1 hr to Providence or Newport RI. We also provide a guest Welcome Guide with recommended restaurants and activities.

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. While parking was challenging, the host gave us clear directions and likely because it was off-season, we found parking easily for a second car. The location is wonderful - so much to walk to. Just a note that almost everything around there is cash only.We were grateful to the host for allowing us an early check-in for an additional, minimal fee.Would definitely stay here again, especially in season.

The location was great! We were there in Mid Sept, so it was nice and quiet. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Couldn't of asked for an easier check in and check out. Highly recommend, the host seems to keep supplies stocked and have everything you need. Plus, she gets back to you quickly if need.

What a wonderful place to stay! It was conveniently located across the street from the beach, marina and cruises, near a number of local restaurants, and across the street from the local park. The accommodations were clean and well appointed. Communications were very good and Carolyn was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The check in and check out process was easy. The local park hosted live music during our stay (Beatles tribute band) as well as a large all day festival a few days later complete with food trucks, vendors and live music. The on site parking proved to be essential, especially the day of the festival. We enjoyed walking in the morning to get our coffee and saving room for ice cream after dinner at one of the local ice cream shops. We would definitely book again if staying in the area.

This was our first time to Cape Cod and we really liked Onset. This property was the perfect place for our family (middle-aged couple, two young adult children, one dog). It's in a fantastic location. The beach is just a few minutes away, adjacent to a park directly across the street. The town of Onset has several restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining, all within walking distance of this property. The apartment was great, very clean and well-stocked. We appreciated the extra niceties, such as coffee, spices, and water stocked in the pantry/fridge. Highly recommend this rental.

The location is fantastic. It’s quiet town that got busier with 4th of July crowds. Nice towels, fully stocked kitchen. Great place for a short getaway.

Good location

The apartment itself is clean. Both bathrooms are small, minimal. The towels in the bathrooms are worn/cheap and smelt bad. We had to wash them before using. (That's why I gave the 3 star cleanliness rating.) The mattresses and pillows in all 3 rooms are low-end and hard. The mattress my fiancé and I slept on was sloped to the middle. All floors in the unit are off kilter. On a happier note, there is a view of the bay from the front porch. I'll look for somewhere else to stay when we return.

Nice place

Great stay, wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay there again. Plenty of room. Very clean, beds were comfortable. Overall a nice place with many things to do walking distance.

GREAT TIME

Perfect location with out ever having to get into Cape traffic. 3min walk to Onset beach which is perfect for children. So much to do in the area. Condo is very comfortable and well stocked. Carolyn is very responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

Great weather from the time we arrived to the time we had to leave. Alot of beach, sun water time was had! Loved being close to Nana's ice cream and a surprise stop in to the Candy Store!! The kids loved it!! Thank you for the memories!!

nice but needs some updates

very quiet and peaceful, amenities such as coffee, sugar, some water .One room is literally very off kilter there is about a four inch step down that one has to be very careful to forget it is there and fall, That whole room is a bit tilted, even when prone on the bed if too close to the edge it feels lie one could roll off of it. It is a nIce easy walk to the beach and there is a cute park right across from the condo bldg.I did enjoy my stay though in this Onset area.

I grew up in the area and love the beach. My husband and I also run a company (MemoryCo) that helps seniors stay engaged and entertained while in Assisted living/Memory Care.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property was built circa 1890 as a Victorian Sea Captain's house. Later, after the turn of the century it was turned into a hotel known as the Marcy House, and later, The Prospect Inn. During the 1920's the property was known for having a 'speak easy' during times of prohibition. There is a lot of history and a lot of great energy on the property. The location is also prime, because it is steps to the beach and steps to many of the great restaurants in Onset. The apartments are very open and can comfortably a large family. The kitchens are well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.

We are uniquely situated in a perfect spot- steps from Onset and Shell Point beaches, steps from Marc Anthony's famous pizza, and right across the street from a fantastic breakfast diner. Within very close walking distance you will also find a local market/liquor store, post office, spa, salon, multiple beautiful parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, local bars, and nice waterfront dining options. We are also very close to the boat rental/kayak rental area. You could spend a week in Onset and not need to drive at all! In additional there are many fairs, festivals, and concerts happening all summer long!
