Views of the ocean, a relaxing pool and spa, and a tropical landscape that is within minutes of beautiful sandy beaches make Wailea Grand Champions #122 the perfect home base for your island vacation. Abutting the fairways of the award-winning Wailea Blue Golf Course, it's just moments from fine dining and shopping at the Shops at Wailea and some of the world's most beautiful beaches: Ulua, Wailea, and Keawakapu, and just a 5-minute drive from other famous Wailea golf courses.

This spacious 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo features a king size bed, ceiling fan, and AC in the bedroom for maximum comfort. The grand en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass doors and an updated vanity area with a stone counter and raised bowl sink. The additional guest bathroom makes this unit perfect for a couple when getting ready for the beach.

The open floor plan is bright and airy and makes it easy to chat while prepping meals with a fully equipped kitchen with a pass through bar top that opens to the dining area. The kitchen includes all appliances needed for meal preparation and clean up, including a dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, glasses, and plateware. This condo also offers other home comforts like a washer and dryer, complimentary wifi and cable TV as well as free assigned parking.

You'll find comfortable seating for four in the spacious dining area, which allows for game night with those fun neighbors you see in Maui every year. Enjoy romantic, al fresco dining on your private lanai while watching the beautiful Maui sun set over the Pacific Ocean. For the sports fan, commentate on fierce tennis matches happening just across the way at the world renowned Wailea Tennis Club during your morning coffee break.

First trip to Maui!

It was my first time to Maui and this property was absolutely perfect! Beautiful view and walking distance to The Shops At Wailea and the beach! I had several requests and the responses were very prompt and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here for your next Maui trip. You won’t be disappointed!

a week of bliss

I loved this place. The condo was newly updated, clean, bright and spacious. The Grand Champions complex is adjacent to the tennis club so it was so easy to get to a lesson. Only downside is we had to come home, haha. Can't wait to come back. Mahalo

Beautiful condos on the golf course

Grand Champions Condo had a nice view of the ocean and the tennis courts. The place was well maintained, and on the grounds were two pools to choose from. There was just one glitch, I never received a text for the entrance code. Luckily, the manager was in and I was able to call and get the code. Great location - reasonable cost.

Great Location

The condo is in a great location in Wailea - within walking distance from the Shops and from many restaurants. The condo has nice high ceilings and is large. Unfortunately throughout our stay the internet was very spotty, and we noticed that the space was less clean than we would expect. We rewashed most of the dishes upon arrival, as they had crumbs and grease residue in them and we were a bit nervous about the state of the air conditioner in the bedroom. Other than that it was a great stay!

Decent Property, but Failed Expectations

When you stay in a property valued at over $1M and costs what this costs to rent, you have some expectations. It was generally maintained well, but had some issues. A broken toilet seat was one, which the management company had this replaced within a day. Pictures were crooked on the wall. The provided toilet paper was cheap single ply, so we had to go buy our own. The AC was noisy and ran almost constantly. And the biggest item: the internet didn't work. We stayed a week and were without the entire time. The management company came out once to look at it, but went unresponsive after that and we never heard from them again. Apparently they do not have the authority to interact with the utilities on behalf of the actual owners, which seems like poor planning. We will look to stay elsewhere next time.

A Refuge In Time Of Crisis

Could be a lot better!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Based on previous stays at other units at "Grand Champions", we were disappointed in the appearance and condition of this unit. For example, the ceiling fan blades in the bedroom were very dirty, the front door was dirty, the patio door screen kept coming off its track, the vase on coffee table was broken and then obviously re-glued with the crack still obvious. The hinge on the toilet seat in the small bath was broken and ready to come off. The tub screen/strainer was rusty and just left on the side of tub instead of in place over the tub drain. The main bathroom sink wouldn't hold water, and the lower cabinet door wouldn't stay shut, and the plumber's tape around main bath shower head was unsightly. All window/door screens could use a good cleaning, especially the screen above the front door (full of bugs and spider webs). A couple of the kitchen dinner spoon handles (plastic) came apart. The beach chairs need to be replaced; they were well-worn, zippers broken and tattered. Upon arrival, we could not connect to WIFI with Internet. We called the help number and followed their instructions by unplugging the modem/router several times and still couldn't get a connection. Fortunately, our cells phones had good reception and we didn't need to use the unit's WIFI. Overall, the unit provided the BASIC needs for a place to stay. It makes us sad to give this kind of review for this unit but since you asked for our feedback, we're giving you our observations. We've stayed at Grand Champions several times before and this is the first time we've been disappointed with a unit. Overall, we again enjoyed our time in Maui - what a great place to be! Unfortunately, we can't recommend unit 122 for a stay at Grand Champions. If you're interested, I have photos of the issues we mentioned in this review and would be glad to share them with you.

I Can't Wait to Go Back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are considering renting this place for your vacation, do not hesitate! The place is wonderful, the location can't be beat, and there's even a washer and dryer on premises. The one thing I do want to mention is that the description lists Fitness Center as one of the amenities. There is no Fitness Center on the property, but there is one about ten minutes away where you can get a temporary membership.

Never was able to get tvs to work. Air in bedroom very noisy. They need to clean all doors around handles. Shower head in bedroom needs replacement. One door in master bathroom needs fixing. Everything else great.

We were able to walk to the beach and the condo has 2 nice beach chairs that we used. There is a high end shopping mall and good dining options within walking distance. Our favorite was Monkeypod Kitchen. I would highly recommend Grand Champions 122 and hope we can stay there again someday!

Great to have access to the pools in the complex! Walking distance to the beach and resorts as well as other restaurants off the beach and Pilates.
