Private garden bungalow just 200m from the beach

In a tropical garden setting, Bungalow Bali Hai is ideally located just 200 meters down a private road to Huahine's best beaches and just a 5-minute walk from Fare town.

The bungalow is Tahitian inspired with all the modern comforts so you can truly feel on vacation. The bungalow was freshly renovated and furnished in 2017 and recently updated in 2023 with a whole new shower, toilet and outdoor renovation.

Featuring screened windows and doors and ceiling fans throughout so you can comfortably enjoy the tropical breeze.

The bedroom is very comfortable with a queen bed, screened windows, closet space, Tahitian lamps, and a ceiling fan.

The living area has a daybed for relaxing and the front wall is almost all completely glassed so you can enjoy the garden view, but in privacy; the grounds are completely fenced.

A large wooden deck surrounds half of the house, here you can appreciate the outdoors at the dining table, practice yoga, read or take a nap in the hammock.

The kitchen is equipped with all the basics. There is a stovetop with gas included, a large refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, French press coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans and more.

The bathroom, shower and walkways have been freshly renovated in 2023. Providing guests convient access to the outdoor shower directly from the bathroom.

We supply the essentials like clean linen, bath and beach towels, toilet paper, soap, shower gel, shampoo and hand sanitiser.

Bungalow is equipped with free wifi.

We provide two bicycles free of charge that are suitable town or beach use; not for island touring.

There is plenty of free parking onsite and an undercover carport available for guest use.

Bungalow Bali Hai is just a 5-minute drive from Huahine airport and we provide free airport or boat transfers! Please let us know your arrival information in advance to organize this.

We live onsite in a seperate dwelling with our young child and friendly medium-sized dog. We are available and happy to help you with anything you need through out your stay. However, your privacy is important to us and we like to give guests their own space.

Great stay

Lovely family with a fantastic clean, quiet and tasteful 3 room bungalow with outdoor shower. and patio dining in nice garden setting.Kitchen was equipped.Tam and Tera provided transfers to and from property. Great location5 minutes to beach, 10 min bike ride to town. Recommend for a wonderful experience.

When I landed on Huahine, the rain was pouring down. Teva & Tam were kind enough to invite me to join them on a drive to the grocery store. The bungalow is comfortable and nicely decorated. Upon arrival, it was beautifully prepared with fresh flowers and leaves, and a lovely jasmine scent. I especially liked the bedroom. The outdoor shower is wonderful, and the towels are of high quality. The kitchen is functional and has a large fridge, though it would have been even better with a few basic supplies such as oil and soy sauce. There is a terrace which is great for relaxing. The bungalow is located in the garden of a family home. Two dogs visit from time to time, and while I was staying there, it felt as though they were looking after me as part of the family. The dogs even came to pick me up at the beach when it was time to go to the airport (!). The complimentary airport transfer is welcome, as there are no regular taxis at the airport, and it may close shortly after arrivals. Teva & Tam provide bikes suitable for short trips. The bungalow is within walking or biking distance to a lovely beach (turn left when reaching the water and continue along a narrow path until you reach it). It is rather small and full of shells that make beautiful sounds as the waves roll back. The commercial center is also reachable by bike or on foot and has a fairly large grocery store. There are also a few smaller shops northeast of the bungalow, all within biking distance.

Amazing place to stay

Everything was wonderful. Lovely kind owners. Great clean accomodation just like the pictures, lovely to have everything screened, a safe and everything you needed for a relaxing time away. Lots of communication before and during my 6 day stay as they went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful time. Huahine is a gentle place with a vibe of yester year just perfect for a holiday. Had a lovely day out driving around and swimming. The beaches by the fare were excellent. I will most certainly be back. Hopefully soon

First of all the property is excellent and perfectly located in Fare. Communication with the property owners was withing 24 hours, where I receive a lengthy, well thought out and pleasant email detailing everything there was to know about the property and even local attractions on Huahine. They offered the property manager Vaiere to pick me up at the airport where she was smiling and on time. She then went on to give me a tour of the town and show me where the best restaurants were, where the markets were and where the banks were if I needed them. Upon arriving at the Bungalow I found it was Exactly like it was depicted in the photos supplied. The home was clean and nicer in real life than I had expected. The Property owners are a mother and father family with an adorable baby girl. a sweet dog named Luna and the cutest kitten that roams the back yard name Lilo. The kitten will want lots of pets and is very affectionate. At bungalow I found the Wi-Fi excellent and every bit as fast as I have back in South Carolina and I was able to stream Netflix and YouTube with zero problems the entire time I was there. I went to the local Super U Market and was surprised by just how big it was and I was easily able to get all the ingredients I wanted to make a fantastic Bolognese Pasta in the bungalow kitchen. Unlike many Air B n B places I've stayed at, all the kitchen dishes, utensils, pots and pans were actually fully washed and ready to go. Highly recommend this place.

The bungalow is set on a large tropical yard with a view of the mountains. The property is fully fenced and gated for maximum privacy and security.

The grounds are almost completely surrounded by the Hotel Maitai Lapita Village. This area, including Bungalow Bali Hai, used to be part of the famous Hotel Bali Hai, from the 70s -90s; a prime location for the island.
