The Casa Rio is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay with family or friends. The house, kitchen and yard were well furnished and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

This was a beautiful home, very clean and well stocked with essential kitchen items, games and books on local history. The river is hands down the best part of the huge yard that’s full of deer at dusk and dawn. We will return to this property again and had an amazing experience!!

Amazing Home

This home had the most beautiful views! We had our coffee on the back porch every morning to watch the sunrise. In the evening we watched the deer leisurely walk across the yard. Such a glorious sight. The river was just steps away with a sitting area to enjoy the beautiful water view. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to all the shopping and restaurants. Will definitely come back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Excellent house. Very clean, seems to be fairly new, very well stocked kitchen with cooking equipment and utensils, nice propane BBQ grill, beautiful huge pecan trees making lots of shade. Everyone in our family (6 adults, 2 kids) totally loved this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house on the river. Plenty of room inside and nice outdoor seating areas. Unlike some others we've stayed at, this was exactly what the pictures showed.

The house was beautiful. The kitchen was amazing with a large island and the living room was nicely furnished. The only suggestion would be to make sure the lawn is mowed, even if just by the house to reduce the mosquitoes. The back porch was wonderful to sit and enjoy the views. We enjoyed our visit very much and would consider renting again if we come back to Wimberley.

Family Vacay

Beautiful modern house with PLENTY of indoor and outdoor space for our family of 9 including a toddler and an infant! The river was a little disappointing but no one can control the water flow. Seeing all the deer and pulling the kids in a wagon each morning to visit the super friendly horses down the road was fun! Loved sitting on both the front and back porches!

Spacious peaceful Wimberley

La Casa Río is exactly as described, and was wonderful for our sisters' 4 day getaway. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious, uncluttered, and clean. The three king beds are all in large private rooms, and the twin daybeds are in a large open space perfect for kids. The property on the river is a short drive to Wimberley Square, but far enough away to make it feel like you're away from it all. The outdoor patios and table and chairs down by the river were great places to enjoy the view, deer, fireflies and conversation. One small recommendation: a full length mirror would be helpful.

Army Reunion

Very nice property and beautiful home. Myself and two other guys who i served with in Korea 51 years ago reunited in Texas where two other of our team lived. Had a great time. Cooked burgers on the gas grill on Sunday and had a few of the guys over. Loved the river and the deer!

Great property: however, heaters did not work!

Wonderful house, clean,.. When we arrived with the outside temperature at 36 degrees! The new thermostats would not work. Spent over 45 minutes with the host office! I was not allowed to speak a technician (nor a manager) over the phone to resolve the heating issue!After 2 1/2 hours without heat and cold temperature in the house, we left the property and returned to our home 3 1/2 hours later!No Communcation from the host/office since 5 days ago, regarding refunds for a house that should have heat in the winter time!

Great place for 6 girlfriends

Wonderful home with everything needed to stay 3 nights; would love to have had a long mirror- the property is beautiful and very peaceful. We get together 1-2 times annually and tend to be loud- the neighbors aren’t used to that, so we tried to keep noise levels down! Thanks for allowing us Baylor Alum to stay here!
