Fantástica casa familiar en Londres

Nuestra casa está cerca de Muswell Hill en el norte de Londres. Puedes ver el centro de la ciudad en aproximadamente. 30 minutos (8 minutos a pie hasta la estación de metro Bounds Green, luego 22 minutos en la línea Piccadilly hasta Covent Garden).

El área es hermosa, muy tranquila, con un gran parque al final de la calle. También tenemos un largo jardín privado (60 metros). Nuestros vecinos son geniales y puedes estacionar tu auto en nuestra calle de forma gratuita.

En la casa hay todo lo que pueda desear para unas vacaciones relajantes ... camas cómodas, dos bañeras, dos duchas, muchos juguetes para niños ... una cocina muy bien equipada con muchos libros de cocina ...

Casa bonita, amplia y bien equipada, bien comunicada con el centro de Londres en metro.

Casa situada en zona residencial tranquila y a unos 30 minutos del centro de Londres en metro (Picadilly line), cerca de un parque con pistas de tenis y baloncesto municipales gratuitas. Ideal familias.

A family home with character, a lovely host

This house is a great fit for a family looking to explore London. It has everything you need. It has character. Kate is a great host and communicates very politely and effectively. Just be mindful that this is not the place if you want to come and go during the day. The time it takes to/from downtown (~45min including walking to/from subway station), consumes part of your day. It's not like "let's go take a shower before we head out again". We were a family of 4 with a 10 year old kid and we were not going to clubs at night, etc, so this was not an issue for us. Highly highly recommended!

Perfect!

I would thoroughly recommend this property. The house is beautiful, and perfectly equipped for a family. The location is brilliant both in terms of the immediate locality, and the accessibility of central London. Kate was a kind and generous host and very easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again when visiting London.

Great stay in Lovely Home

Can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was spacious, super clean, very comfortable, and Kate was friendly, helpful, accommodating, and very responsive when I had any questions. I was visiting London with my two adult children and we had a blast, and this house was the perfect launching pad for each day of exploration. Takes about 10 minutes to walk to the tube and from there you can get to anywhere in London very easily. The neighborhood of the home is quiet, safe, we slept like babies. Loved our stay and feel like it was quite a lucky find. Will absolutely stay again, already searching for th next great air deal!

Séjour du 23 au 30 aout

Charmante maison typique dans un quartier calme et agréable. Si vous voulez vous imprégner d'une atmosphère typiquement anglaise c'est la maison parfaite ! Bow window, vitraux, carrelage ancien et parquet, moquettes moelleuses, 2 salles de bain avec douche et baignoire chacune, chambre parentale avec un lit immense et une vue magnifique sur le jardin arboré. Petite terrasse supplémentaire au fond du jardin au milieu de la végétation. Le métro est à 10mn à pied, ligne desservant Saint Pancras et Picadilly .Pour les courses alimentaires, nombreux petit commerces de proximité autour de la station de métro et un Tesco Express plus traditionnel à 5mn. Le pub Ranelagh a proximité du métro est parfait aussi pour prendre une bière ou y manger (musique live le jeudi et grande terrasse arborée). Vous pourrez rejoindre à pied le parc d'Alexandra Palace avec une magnifique vue sur Londres et pour les plus courageux prendre la voie piétionne et la forêt pour vous rendre au cimetière de Highgate et finir par la colline de Hampstead. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée et très bonne communication avec Kate. Je recommande vivement !

Familienurlaub in London

Zuerst möchten wir uns bei Kate und Ihrer Familie ganz herzlich bedanken, dass wir ihr wunderschönes Haus für unseren Aufenthalt in London mieten durften. Kate hat sich toll um alles gekümmert und wir hatten immer das Gefühl gut aufgehoben zu sein. Das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar im Norden Londons gelegen. Gut mit der U-Bahn oder Bussen zu erreichen. Trotz der Lage in der Nähe des Londoner Zentrums ist es Nachts immer angenehm leise und ruhig gewesen. Das Haus selbst bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten die man sich nur vorstellen kann, von der Kücheneinrichtung über Waschmaschine bis hin zu den Bädern, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gefallen haben unseren Kindern die Meerschweinchen und das Trampolin im Garten. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es alles was man braucht, einen schönen kleinen Park mit Spielplatz für die Kinder ebenso wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen bedarf. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir am liebsten gar nicht mehr gegangen wären. Bleibt nur zu sagen, dass wir sehr gerne wiederkommen. Grüße Markus, Maggi, Henry & Matilda

We had a fantastic time in London. Kate’s house made our trip very special! We absolutely recommend her place. We, a family of 5 (2 teenagers –a boy & a girl, my mom, my husband, and I), traveled from California to London and stayed there for a week in April. It was our first time to visit London. I chose Kate’s house because I wanted to feel like a home. First of all, the descriptions and the pictures are absolutely accurate. The first floor has a living room, dining room, a kitchen and a ½ bath. The house is clean and also has a nice backyard. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, each has a single bed, and a full bathroom. The loft (3rd floor) is a master suite which has a very comfortable US King size bed. Here are few notes to share: • The nearest tube station is about 10 minutes’ walk. There are a grocery store and general stores around the station. We enjoyed the daily walk, great weather, and the blooms around us. Very pretty! Just, to be prepared a lot of walking in London if your daily life doesn’t do much walking  • The house is in a residential area. The neighborhood is nice, friendly, and quiet. • 2 guinea pigs in the backyard. My kids enjoyed spending time with them so much every morning and evening when we returned. Kate offered to send them away, but my kids wanted to take care them. The 2 guinea pigs brought us a lot of joys during our stay. They made our trip so special and more fun!! • There was a problem with a toilet in the second floor. It kept running after flushing. We had to press the button several times, so it could store water for a next use. But it didn’t bother us since it’s not the only toilet in the house. • Most places accept credit cards. Since mine doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, 98% of the trip spending was paid with a credit card in a local currency (GBP) to take advantage of a better exchange rate. Check with your credit card company. We only used cash for a general store purchase and restaurant tips. My ATM card charges 1% of foreign transaction fee and $0 for a withdrawal, I still get more compared to the currency exchange shops’ offers. • Get an Oyster card for a public transportation. We spent about £30-40 per adult. And prepared to have tons of fun :-)

Fantastisches Domizil in London

Liebe Kate, wir haben als Familie mit zwei 11 und 16 Jahren alten Töchtern wunderbare Tage in der Stadt London und in Deinem Haus verbracht. Die Internetbeschreibung passt 1:1 auf die Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Ein wunderschönes großes Haus mit Terrasse und schönem Garten, in dem wir auch die Sonne Londons genossen und abends in der Küche The Smiths gehört haben. Die nächste U-Bahn/ Underground ist in der Tat nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von ca. 10 Minuten vom Haus entfernt und man ist in 20 Minuten im Centrum von London. Kate und auch die Nachbarn waren wenn gewünscht jederzeit erreichbar und standen mit Rat oder Tat zur Seite. Wir werden das Haus im Freundeskreis weiter empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit viel Flair

Ich war mit 3 Freundinnen in diesem wunderbaren Haus und wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, ein richtiges Haus zum Wohlfühlen. Ausreichend Platz, 2 tolle, moderne und sehr saubere Bäder - ein Highlight das Schlafzimmer mit integriertem Bad im oberen Stockwerk. Jede von uns hatte ein eigenes Schlafzimmer und schätzte die Ruhe in der Nachbarschaft. Das Haus hat eine Superlage: direkt ohne Umzusteigen von Heathrow zu erreichen, man ist sehr schnell im Zentrum und in wenigen Minuten von der Tube Station "zuhause". Da wir alle gerne kochen, liebten wir die sehr gut eingerichtete Küche, vielen Dank, dass wir alle Gewürze ... nutzen durften. Da wir schönes Wetter hatten, konnten wir den tollen Garten schon zum Frühstücken nutzen. Kate und ihre Familie sind außergewöhlich gastfreundliche Vermieter und ich kann dieses Haus vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Ich hoffe, selbst einmal wieder zu kommen. Vielen Dank, liebe Kate, für die Einkaufs - und Pubtipps und Eure tolle Gastfreundschaft!

A gorgeous, spacious family home a short trip away from central London

This house was really lovely to stay in. The owners were very kind, communicative and clear. There is a comfortable, spacious living room and dining area off the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and space had been provided for our own food and drink. The garden is long and gorgeous with a trampoline at the back, which was great for the kids. It was really nice to take a seat in the sunshine with a drink. On the 1st floor there is a large family bathroom and 3 comfy bedrooms. But quite possibly the best part of the house is the new loft conversion on the 2nd floor with bi-folding doors overlooking the garden and a very large comfy bed and en-suite. The location is perfect as it is very quiet but only a 10 minute walk from Bounds Green station on the Piccadilly tube line. It takes approx. 25mins to get to central London. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Thank you to the family for the use of their family home. 😍
