Come enjoy the natural beauty of a log home in the woods with short drive times to attractions, and venues in the Hocking Hills region.
The Woodhaven Lodge faces into the woods and has a serene shaded back deck with endless wooded views. We can host up to 16 people; offering family-friendly, spacious accommodations for rain or shine.

-- 3 minutes off of SR33 on a paved road = 8 Minutes to Cantwell Cliffs, 7 minutes to Rockbridge Antique Mall, 12 minutes to downtown Logan.

-- Lodge is equipped with wifi but please be aware the rural location provides slower speeds so it may be difficult to stream multiple movies + games.

-- Ring Security cameras mounted on exterior of lodge to monitor parking area and side porch entrance. There are no cameras inside the lodge.

-- If you have more than 16 guests, check-out the adjacent property Longview Lodge which we co-host (VRBO Property #2725791 or https://www.vrbo.com/2725791). Combined, these two neighboring, yet private Lodges accommodate up to 32 overnight guests.

Our stay was great. Quick responses from the owners to any questions we had. Plenty of space in the house. With the 18 mo old, the baby gates were key. Very clean and beautiful house.

A perfect cabin

We had a lovely stay in the Hocking Hills area. Plenty of space for all of us to stay, a bathroom on each floor was helpful for large groups! Kitchen was well stocked, we made dinner every night with plenty of seating and tables. The deck was heavenly!

The inside of the cabin was immaculate and just as stated in the advertisement. The kitchen was well stocked as well as bathrooms with towels, soap, and toilet tissue. The grass was not cut upon arrival, but we notified the owners and the grass was cut the next day. Our only complaint was the condition of the deck. Although the fireplace was beautiful and the furniture was plentiful, the cleanliness of the deck was a problem. It had not been swept or washed off in months. There was dried bird droppings all over the furniture and deck surface. The fireplace was full of ash and the propane tanks were empty. Again, we called the owners concerning the propane and someone appeared within an hour with a full tank so that the grill could be utilized.

Great Time

The cabin was exactly what we hoped it would be. Spacious, clean, convenient, and fully equipped. We stayed with a larger group of people and everyone had plenty of space. Our needs were fully met. Would love to revisit if given the opportunity. Thank you!

Bachelorette weekend

We had a low key bachelorette weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. The property was as expected with plenty to do between the hot tub, pool table and fireplace on the deck. It was fairly clean but we did find left over items from the previous guests. Our first time in this cabin but not in the area. We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again.

Fantastic family vacation

One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in! They have everything you need for a great stay. Lots of extra pillows, towels, and kitchen necessities. We especially appreciated the hang out spaces which provided plenty of space for everyone to either be together or spend time separately. Our granddaughter (15 months) was kept safe by the stair gates. Location was perfect making it easy to get to hiking as well as shopping and food. We also had great communication with the property owners and no issues during our stay. Highly recommend!

getaway weekend with friends

We had a wonderful time together; relaxing, sitting in the hot tub, and playing board games. The location is great, it feels secluded but still close to necessities as well as local activities. The winery down the road is a great spot for an afternoon out then returning to the lodge. My only regret is the weather wasn't warm enough to enjoy the deck and porch swings.

No one allowed for dinner

I picked this cabin especially for its location close to my daughter 's wedding venue. Only 5 minutes away. Owners were easy to converse with and tentative. Beds were comfortable but no ensuites. Loved the robes. Huge patio but too much furniture to walk around comfortably. Hot tub was okay but very outdated, missing knobs and pillows. Kitchen was adequate but again outdated or low-end appliances. Hosted the rehearsal dinner with plenty of room, Another reason I picked this rental, and everyone was gone by about 8:30. We did not have a party only dinner, so apparently that was not allowed at the venue either. I received a message from the owners stating they noticed more than the original # staying there had shown on the door cam and I violated the agreement, while I was getting ready for the wedding. I tried not to think about the message but it definitely upset me on my daughter's wedding day. We did not have a party and no one broke anything or even used their hot tub but my husband and I. We are very conscientious about staying in somebody else's home. And of course this is not our first vbro rental or in this area. We even called to let them know that their water heater was leaking quite badly within an hour of us arriving at the house. I did not think this was a five-star home because of the outdated appliances and hot tub. Everything else was very nice and we did enjoy our stay there.

Disappointed

With all things considered, this house does not live up to the cost. It was "fine", but considering $1,000+ a night, "fine" leaves a bad taste. The beds were some of the cheapest mattress I've slept on in a long time. They're sloped to the center. The sheets are cheap. The craftsmanship in the house is poor. Did it work? Yes, but I could have gotten the same thing for $300/night. We'll certainly be visiting Hocking Hills again, just not staying here. Bad purchase on my end.

Perfect Accommodations for our Weekend Golf Trip

The cabin was as great as advertised. Everything seemed new and very clean. Our group of 16 fit comfortably and the outdoor gathering spaces were our favorite part. Will definitely book again.

Luxury Lodge in Hocking Hills

Lodge was amazing overall. Beautiful place and anything you need is there. Only really thing that happened is when we got there it was not ready for us to check in. It was not a big deal because there was a Winery within a quarter mile and on the same road. Very nice Winery. We understand things happen so not a big deal.

Beautiful Property

Wonderful cabin with extra attention paid to detail…bedding, towels, robes, plenty of seating (indoors and out), dishes, glassware, small appliances, etc. It was easy to communicate with owners. Our entire family, 9 adults and 7 grandchildren ages 5-17 enjoyed every aspect of the cabin.
