Trotamundos... is located in the history rich Old San Juan. San Jose Street is in the nightlife epicenter of the city. It has restaurants, bars and cultural sites, just steps away.
We include air conditioning, hot water, en suite bathroom, shampoo, soap, towels and beach chairs and towels. There is private small living room area. The sofa bed is for a third and/or fourth guest. In the event that two guests want to sleep apart there is a 5$ extra linen fee.This room does not have windows.

Great location!

So close to everything! Ingrid was great with parking suggestions. And fast to respond when I needed a blow dryer. Very cute place and the beds and pillows were SO comfy!

Loved my stay. Perfect location. I walked all over OSJ and at night I could walk right next door to La Factoria for a drink and dancing! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe the entire time!

Old San Juan Gem

The property manager was very responsive and helpful. She offered advice of places to visit and the space is right in the heart of the historic neighborhood. Great place to crash after a night on the town. Great place to walk around and soak up Puerto Rican history and culture.

I enjoyed this very simple accommodation for it location, it's friendly staff and comfort. For people wanting to be not only in the heart of Old San Juan but in the middle of the action. This is the location. Young people gravitate to this part of San Juan day and night.

If you want to be in the middle of it all this place is where you want to be. No bells or whistles but exactly as advertised and needed. We hope to come back to San Juan and when we do this place will be on the short list.

Great location

Such a great stay for 2 nights! Location is in the heart of bars, restaurants and within walking distance to all the historical sights. The room is small but in a very cool open air building. Bathroom is not attached but is right across the room and used the same room key - which was no problem for us! The bathroom was very big! We loved our stay and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice place to stay if you'll be out and about exploring the majority of the day!

Nice for a short stay

This room is good if you're either planning to stay 1 night or don't intend on staying in the room for a long period of time. I also want to mention this room is on the 3rd floor (not sure if it's in the description but if so, I missed it LOL). The nearby bars are convenient.

Ingrid is amazing

Wonderful location in the heart of Old San Juan. Luggage lockers were available before and after check in/out- wonderful! Ingrid responsive and friendly- superb host. There is a bar outside the building, but not to loud for sleep. Highly recommend.

Great spot in Old San Juan. Super walkable, with many awesome shops and cafes. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite large. Our room had a separate bathroom which could use some AC. The window was nice, but a bit too large to avoid giving a show. I was very happy with this booking.

Old San Juan

This is a great little spot to spend a few days. It has all the restaurant and bars. Plus its close to the coffee shops and ael Morro. We will stay again. The bathroom is across the hall but this room is at the end of the hall and really secluded. I have read others say its a luttle loud at night but honestly with the ac running we went right to sleep. No tv is the only thing missing but we wil stay here again!

This is a functional double bed in an air conditioned environment comfortable for a couple. The bathroom was clean and has a good shower but is not climate controlled and separated from the room.

Perfect location, just right for one person, but...

Everything was great about the room. It was exactly as described, the AC was quiet and effective, the location was in the perfect part of old town. The private bathroom was clean and the water pressure/temp was great. As anticipated though, there was a fair amount of noise from the bars nearby that goes late, so if you're a light sleeper, please take that into consideration.

The place is perfect for what we need for our overnight stay. We are about to go on a cruise and would like to go around all San Juan the day before our cruise embarkation. The place is in the center of Old San Juan and sites, restaurants and shops are all walkable. The cruise port for our ship is about 15 mins by taxi. The owner is also accommodating about our request for our luggage storage . We will definitely be back.

The property felt safe and secure with plenty of surveillance cameras. The tiny room was cute and unattached bathroom was clean, smelled great and there was enough water pressure with hot water. The only complaint would be the bar downstairs was very loud until at least 1am. The host did provide earplugs.

Life changing

I came to PR as a pre passport trip. Never traveled alone before this far & this changed my whole perspective of the idea. Being in the middle of Old San Juan you’ll meet a lot of new people and very safe. Clean room, clean bathroom, clean area. Refreshing establishment and trip. Also the property management was swift if ever in need of anything. Would definitely recommend anyone coming to this establishment & PR. Thank you for an amazing trip.

You get what you pay for. Old building and room needs some freshening up - paint, but you are in Old San Juan which is really a cool place. You are directly across from two bars and next to one, so it is a bit noisy late into the night (use the ear plugs). If you are looking to party each night into the wee hours then this is an awesome location. Room 11 has a detached bathroom you will need to cross a hallway, but you are at the end of hall. Air conditioner in the room is awesome - sincerely and much needed. Stark lone lightbulb in the room makes you feel like you are in a prison cell with amenities - a refrigerator and a table with two chairs. For the price, location, and staff service this is a good deal ($72/night). Would stay again, short stay a few days.

A few nights in Viejo San Juan

This room was perfect for the two of us the two nights we spent in Old San Juan. The location was incredible- close to historic sites and all the nightlife of Calle de San Sabastian. The host was very responsive, the property clean, and we rarely saw other guests staying in the other rooms of the guest house. Would highly recommend this property to other young travelers on a budget!
