Cozy cabin on lake poinsett. Perfect place for your relaxing getaway. The house is fully outfitted with your own private dock, hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table, volleyball net, and a game room with lake views. Inside the heated garage there is a game cleaning table and a freezer for guests to use. Living room and kitchen has walk out access to balcony deck with eating area and grill overlooking the lake. This property is walking distance to the public beach access and boat lauch and about 10 minutes from the local grocery store and restaurants.

Fun for Labor Day

Would stay again!

We had a nice stay for Memorial weekend with our two families. The weather was nice during our stay but the lake was to cold for swimming. The kids spent a lot of time fishing off the dock. We enjoyed the nice big deck and views. This is a newer rental and they have a couple things to work out but the property manager was very accommodating and we would definitely stay again. Bummed the storm a couple weeks prior took part of the dock and may have messed with the operation of the hot tub. Also listing says air conditioning but that is window air. Manager did say direct hot tub electrical and central air are in the works!

Mixed feelings

Overall impression was mixed feelings…..it’s such a beautiful property yet you can see that the owners do not put anything back into the property. There is plenty of stairs, carpet, hot tub and patio that needs to be fixed or just updated. There are simple house things that they did not have from bathroom( no plunger, toilet scrubber, hand soap) to kitchen(measuring cups). There was too many little things that took away from it becoming the property it truly should be. Hopefully the owners will stop and take just a little time and put the love back into this property that it needs.

Good location, good rest

The house is well located, almost the last house on drive. So very quite and the huge deck is nice. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is well furnished (we just missed glasses in glass for the wine!!). The house isn't new, needs some refresh. The owner is really flexible, because of the bad weather during the weekend, he lets us stay a bit longer for the check out!! Thanks again!

Quirky Layout

Funky floor plan. 😊 Needs some maintenance but it is obvious the owners are putting a lot of work into this house. Kitchen was well equipped. Had a lot of towels, beach towels. Used the washer and dryer for swim suits. Had a blast with the kayak and inflatables. Several areas to hang out; landing between the garage and house, inside of course, deck and ground level off the dock. We had a such a great time!

Great weekend getaway !

We all enjoyed our stay here. The location was great by a boat ramp. Quiet area. House was very clean with a lot of necessities. Close by a grocery store and liquor store. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck and the shaded area by the dock.

Beautiful location

The location was beautiful. The AC worked well. The house only has one true bedroom. The other 2 rooms are accessed through the same door and the last bed is a sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed is fine for kids, but not very supportive. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
