First Class Stay

Fantastic place to stay. Attention to detail is superb and the space is absolutely spotless. Lovely touch with the homemade bread and jam. Ken and Thelma are wonderful hosts and the house is located in a perfect location in the heart of Twillingate. Spoil yourself in stay in this wonderful spot.

This is the most beautiful suite I have stayed at. It was immaculately clean and decorated and equipped so well. Fresh bread and home made jam and scones! The view was stunning! Loved it in Twillingate and this suite made it even more perfect. Ken and Thelma are lovely.

Way better than expected

Thelma saw to every small detail to make the suite a home away from home. King bed super comfy, very clean and walkable to anywhere in town. Lovely outdoor seating overlooking the bay for a beer in the evening. Great laundry facilities with full kitchen and kitchenware.

Clean and comfortable in Twillingate.

Ken and Thelma are very kind and thoughtful hosts. Our space was clean and private, with a beautiful view of the bay out of our bedroom window. The location was just fine.

The view was spectacular. The people thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. INcluding small touches like providing slippers to wear, and a fresh loaf of bread. They had lots of information available about the local area which was helpful.

The View!!

We had a lovely stay at Thelma's place! So close to everything you'd want to do in Twillingate (including a short hike up their hill to see the sunset on the other side, in addition to the sunrise from their window). But my favorite thing was the gorgeous bay view from the huge windows in the bedroom. Just an amazing site to wake up to!! Highly recommend!

It is a single suite very organized with a real kitchen pots and pan and wine glasses. Included: washer dryer. a must. Owners a very quiet, we barely see them with their Old quiet golden retriever. You don't stop there for watching TV... It is relaxing and you don't need to go to a restaurant to eat fry fish... Good for us we cook real food/fish.

Loved Our Stay

In celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary my husband and I travelled to Newfoundland for the 1st time to explore and sightsee this amazing province. We only stayed here for 2 nights but hated to leave!!! The correspondence was quick and easy. We knew the details even before we left so there were no worries. The apartment was beautifully decorated inside and even out on our private patio! It was so comfy and cosy and the view was amazing!! Everything we needed was readily available. Thelma and Ken were very gracious hosts who gave us advice and knowledgeable information as to where to go and what to see. Twillingate is a very interesting little village. We highly recommend this suite to any couple visiting this area!

Lovely Twillingate!

We enjoyed our stay and found everything spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Laundry facilites were a bonus and the fresh baked good were delicious! All in all one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Newfoundland. The info binder was well put together and very helpful.

We really enjoyed this property. The location was great. It was nice being able to walk to a number of restaurants. We loved the bread, jam and all the extras you had available. We had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable.

Fantastic place

This place was fantastic. Very clean, large, everything was basically brand new. Laundry included which was also very helpful. Thelma had fresh home baked bread and muffins for us on arrival. The bedroom was large and really comfortable king size bed. Kitchen was well equipped. Also many thoughtful touches of anything you might require: luggage rack, new towels and linens. Location was great within walking distance to most local restaurants. Absolutely spotless clean. Thelma was very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend
