Authentic 1940's Farmhouse Cottage located in rural Tishomingo County. The home has two bedrooms, one bath, and a fully stocked kitchen. The house was built over 80 years ago with stone that was quarried locally. More interestingly, most of the stone on this home was laid by a woman--Mrs. Beulah! Character and Charm both inside and out.

Located within minutes from: Bay Springs and Pickwick Lakes, Tishomingo SP, JP Coleman SP, Pickwick Landing SP, Shiloh National Battlefield and The Natchez Trace Parkway. Great antiquing opportunities all around.

The HOT TUB is available year round.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this magical cottage celebrating our 15 year anniversary! Snowflake was an absolute doll and the sheep and wildlife just added to the relaxation of our stay. We will be back!

Was like home away from home for us. The communication with owner was excellent. Very peaceful and relaxing The hot tub was amazing and the little doggo visitor was very friendly well behaved.WILL DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN AND WILL RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

39th wedding anniversary

Quiet and peaceful. Great place to just get away and relax. Met host in their blackberry field and got some info for our own. Spa was great. Has everything needed to cook. Fun board games we have never played before. Will try to come again.

Cozy weekend getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin! The house has so much character and such a cool history, but is also surprisingly modern and updated. The animals are adorable and the hot tub is really nice.

My FAVORITE stay!

I have stayed in many unique places. This one is by far, the absolute BEST! The hosts are so thoughtful. We did not “need” or “want” for anything our entire weekend! It was literally as if they read my mind before we arrived and had everything ready for us! We actually had to leave some because my son had an academic tournament. If not for having to, we could’ve stayed there the whole time! I definitely will be back!

Great getaway

The cabin was very nice ,clean and very comfortable. Didn't have time for the hot tub but next time I'll enjoy it highly recommend it I will be coming back thank y'all. So much better than a motel

Great experience!

It is the perfect cottage! Super clean and far better than a hotel room. It has a big yard where my kids and I threw the Frisbee. WiFi of course and 2 tvs. Its right between Dauphin island and St Peters. 5.5hrs either way. I am very glad I found this place and will definitely stay again. I am looking for a fall getaway here too.

First family vacation

We had the best time at this farmhouse cottage and enjoyed every little detail it had to offer! It was so beautiful from the inside out. The stories about the place were so cool. Will definitely be back for another getaway trip

Quaint farm house

My husband and I spent a night at this quaint old farm house to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The house is exactly as it appears on the photos. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it is near the highway and has a neighbor right next door. This did not pose any problems, but I just expected it to be more secluded. The owner was quick to respond to a question I had and very accommodating. Overall a wonderful get a way spot!

Anniversary Celebration

We rented this house for our one year anniversary. The place was beautiful and the history behind it also. It was so clean and equipped with anything you could ever need while staying there. We were greeted by a sweet little baby goat and dog. We plan on making this an every year tradition for our anniversary and for getaways. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Quaint cottage near the Trace

We stayed here as a stop over while driving the Natchez Trace. Not too far from the Trace and the beautiful Tishomingo State Park. The cottage is very quaint and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub is nice and a fire pit and bbq grill is out back to use. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great stay. Very well decorated, everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for an even longer stay. We stay at a lot of VRBOs and this was in the top 5. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. And the doggo was soooo cute as well.

We are want-to-be farmers. The cottage adjoins our in-progress hobby farm where we are just getting started with berries, bees, goats, and sheep. We fund our farming escapades by working as a physical therapist and fireman. Our two children join us on this adventure and make it almost fun and entirely worthwhile!

No cookie cutter here!! The property is very unique and charming. And while we are rural, there is an abundance of outdoor activities within 30-40 minutes if that your desire. Or, enjoy the serenity of the cottage and surrounding farm.
