Did the job

The unit is attractive. It was clean other than the porch furniture which we had to wipe off before using. There are no lounge chairs on the porch, unfortunately. The kitchen was missing some items that facilitate meal-making and has an excess of other things such as glasses. There is no carpeting or rugs which is great for cleaning but makes the floor unwelcoming for kids, watching TV, exercising, etc. We have stayed at other Summer House units that are more comfortable. That said, this one was adequate for a 4-night stay.

Family vacation

Really enjoyed stay. Beautiful view especially moon at night. Also fun watching dolphins jumping in water in mornings. Condo very nice and outdoor balcony very spacious. Would love to stay here again.

Orange Beach Vacation

The condo unit was just as pictured on the listing. With that being said, the Summer House property was very run down in its exterior appearance. The entrance to the unit could be compared to a seedy hotel. The property on the outside needs a complete over hall. The unit could of used a better cleaning. The trundle bed did not have sheets on it, so we had to search for those and then had to wash the ones we found because there were a few hairs on the sheets. I spent our first evening dealing with the trundle bed issues. The master shower needs a new floor as it looked in bad disrepair. The toaster is basically useless. It needs to be replaced. The white furniture in the picture looks very nice but was dirty. The couch and chair either need to be cleaned or replaced. None of the bathroom doors had locks and none of the bathrooms had floor mats. Some positives - we never had an issue with parking. We never had to wait for an elevator. There were plenty of carts available for us to get our things up to our room and then again, to our car when we left. We loved the short walk to the beach. We loved the balcony and all of the furniture provided. The unit was priced appropriately. I personally, depend on VRBO reviews when picking out a property. I hope this much more detailed review will help others when choosing a property to stay at in Orange Beach.

Family trip 2023

The condo was just as is was described! Loved the wrap around balcony and furniture.. We stayed with 6 adults and one child(8) and would stay here again. Great location to the pool and beach. We have nothing negative to say.

Annual Family Beach Trip

The condo was just as the pictures and description stated. The views were spectacular from the wrap around balcony! Loved the balcony furniture! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Coordinate showers - the hot water ran out pretty quick…. other than that everything was great!

Girls Trip 2023

This is a beautiful property. We had 4 sisters and 5 nieces in our group ranging in age from 35 to 73 and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed our time spent on the spacious balcony and on the beach which was not overcrowded. Great views . The listing states that there is a kuerig machine and does not list a coffee maker but there is a 12 cup coffee maker there. The unit needs a good thorough cleaning other than that its a wonderful place. We would stay again.

Awesome getaway

My family and I stayed here just a couple of days-but we all had wished we had booked for the week. Nice, new, clean furnishings throughout the condo. BEAUTIFUL view of the gulf. The BEST balcony we’ve had in all the years we’ve been coming to the gulf. The pools were clean and very kid friendly. We will be booking this condo again next year… and we’ve never done that.
