Of course, you can also visit Turin and other major cities, drive to the coast (1 hour), or simply relax in the spacious house and on the property.<br><br>The living area<br><br>You’ll be staying in a vacation home featuring a spacious kitchen-dining area (40 sqm) with a fireplace and an adjoining bathroom (shower/toilet and washing machine) in the basement and a sleeping area with three bedrooms, a bathroom (shower/toilet and bathtub), and a separate toilet on the upper floor.<br>Two of the lovingly furnished rooms are approximately 20 square meters in size and each feature a 1.80-meter double bed with two mattresses. The third room, which is 12 square meters in size, can be used as a double room with an additional mattress or as a single room. The entire upper level is surrounded by a terrace to which you have exclusive access.<br>If needed, additional rooms in the adjacent natural-stone house can be booked, allowing for comfortable accommodations for up to 12 people.<br><br>Overview<br><br>The surrounding area is extremely popular with foodies, nature lovers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and hikers. In the town of Ceva, just 10 minutes away, you can shop at small gourmet stores or the supermarket. The small town also invites you to enjoy a “caffè con gelato” (espresso with a scoop of ice cream) under the historic arcades. In Ceva, you can also rent (e-)mountain bikes or jump into the river to cool off. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, two hiking trails start right from the accommodation. Within walking distance, in Torresina, you’ll find Mollo’s trattoria, which serves traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Numerous other restaurants, bars, and wineries in the surrounding towns are accessible by car and are definitely worth a visit. <br>Other interesting destinations include the cities of Turin, Cuneo, and Alba, which exude a typical Italian charm; the lavender fields of Sale San Giovanni; and the world-famous Barolo wine region—all of which are between 15 and 60 minutes away by car.<br>What makes this region truly special is that both ski resorts (Prato Nevoso) and the sea (Savona)—just 50 km away—are within easy reach, and popular cities like Turin, Monaco, Nice, and Milan are also great destinations for day trips.<br><br>Transportation<br><br>Unfortunately, there is no public transportation, and a car is highly recommended. There is ample parking available.<br>
