Lotus Spa, your home away from home

The Lotus is your zen home away from home. Enjoy peace and tranquility on your private back deck, the amazing salt water hot tub & outdoor 3 season shower (exclusively used by you during your stay) the super deep freestanding bathtub (showering is tricky for people taller then 5'5 :) with bluetooth speaker. We also just added a Finnish outdoor private Sauna with a modern HUUM heater for your enjoyment (extra charge $88 per day) The comfortable king size bed with European bedding will let you get some much needed rest. Enjoy walks on our 12 ac property or any of the lakes near by for any kind of year round outdoor experience. We have lots of peace and tranquility. We do have a dog and 3 cats (please do not let them in the Lotus) and several free ranging chickens.

This place was nice and cozy. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful. Rudy the cat was the sweetest. I just feel like the linen could if been cleaner, the slippers smelt and were not new for each guest. And Im 5’3” and could not fit under the shower. But overall amazing place and great stay.

The place was great, was exactly as advertised. It was clean and cozy with some really nice touches. It’s very private and the hot tub is really cool. Awesome view of the stars. The only drawback is having to walk by the beautiful sauna lol. I just couldn’t swing the extra 90 bucks for the night. All in all a really nice place.

We had a wonderful time at this location celebrating our anniversary. The property is well cared for with little touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. The hot tub is fabulous and the indoor space is very cozy. Cute animals around the property were a bonus! Thank you for a great stay!

I was a little unsure when we first got there (I couldn’t find the entrance and the property looked busy with the buildings so close) but the second we opened the door to the lotus I was completely transported to a space of zen and relaxation. The space offered everything you would need to spend a few nights connecting with yourself or your partner. The bathroom was absolutely stunning with the soaking tub and fancy mirror that changes light color as well as all the small details like the squatty potty, epsom salts, tree branch hooks, and towel warmer. We played a game provided by the hosts and the bed was luxurious! We did not get a chance to use any of the outdoor amenities but if we had more time we definitely would have! Overall 10/10! Plus the kitties, pup, and chickens were an added bonus for extra whimsy!

It was amazing! My wife and I wanted a peaceful get away surrounded by beautiful green scenery and thats exactly what we got. It had everything you would want in a peaceful spa/restort getaway. The hot tub, sauna, and the loft was amazing. We saved it and plan on coming back soon!

WOW! Spa is the right word! This was just the getaway I needed to reset, recharge, relax, restore, unwind and chill out. Not only was the space aesthetically beautiful, it was beautifully thought out. It had everything I needed - coffee & fixings, kitchenware & appliances, paper towels, extra blankets & pillows, chilly AC, bath essentials, robe & slippers, and more:) I absolutely LOVED the bed and bedding!! Super comfy cozy! The loveseat was the perfect spot to chill out, read my book & meditate. The soaking tub was great! Oh! And loved the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom & the lighted mirror! I used the hot tub twice - very relaxing. I'm not used to the salt water, but it was so nice to turn the jets off and just float while looking at the stars. The outdoor space is well thought out and just awesome! I really hope to stay here again (preferably on a solo retreat, but would be nice to share with my husband as well;) I'm also going to research the sister locations! Such a unique, peaceful stay. I absolutely adored staying here and I so wish I could have stayed longer. Between the hot tub, swings out back, and outdoor shower, it feels like a true retreat. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and temp. I hope I can come back for an extended stay soon!

Beautiful, quick getaway!

My husband and I stayed for one night for a quick getaway. The Lotus was quiet and absolutely adorable. Great amenties including a fridge, microwave, snacks, robes, slippers, self care items, the list goes on. The hot tub and outdoor shower were amazing! Wish we had more time to stay!

Perfect peaceful get away, close to barn lights wedding venue

I could not leave a more glowing review. The owner is wonderful and provided clear instructions and flexibility and the property is gorgeous. The bed was plush and luxurious, the surround sound music over the large tub created an unparalleled relaxation experience, and the saltwater hot tub was soothing after a long day of movement. Thank you so much for a great experience, we would love to come back for a longer stay in the future!

This location is truly a gem, from the amenities to the attention to detail. The bed was a wonder and a soak in the hot tub was even better. Will definitely be returning.

Cozy and Comfortable Stay

Gesine was always on top of communications! The property was extremely inviting and the furnishings and linens were beautiful and pampering. There were so many amenities that enhanced our short stay - the kitchen was well equipped and the bath offered a variety of toiletries. I wish we had time to take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit - both were private and would have been amazing at night under the million stars we were able to see. Gesine went out of her way to make our stay exceptional.

The best little getaway spot

This place has everything you could want for a relaxing/romantic getaway. It feels completely private, and the hosts have thought of everything. It's well-equipped, cozy, and feels luxurious. We plan to come back again.

Amazing quaint property!

We came to Maine to visit my oldest son and Gesine was an amazing host. We loved our stay and will be trying some of her other properties as well. The outdoor shower was a game changer (for a 6’6” man 😂). My wife even had some chicken visitors! Lol!!

We offer a salt water hot tub (exclusive use for you during your stay) a 3 season outdoor shower and a beautiful deck overlooking your private back yard. The amazing king seize bed and European bedding will provide you a great nights sleep. The deep freestanding Tub is perfect for soaking (if you shower in it, please tuck the sower curtains inside the tub) You can find great hiking and walking trails on the property and right across the street. We have Horn Pond & Wilson Lake right around the corner with public boat and beach access.
