Tucked away in the 24-7 gated community of Shagbark, enjoy the serene wooded and mountain views. This cabin is perfect for the entire family to enjoy the Smoky Mountains. It is a combination of luxury and privacy. The cabin sits on just under 3 acres with plenty of outdoor area for sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful view of the mountain.

The family can spend countless hours indoors playing games, sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds of nature, or sitting in the hammock and reading your favorite novel. Maybe enjoy a game of horseshoes or corn hole if you are feeling competitive. In the summer, there is also a neighborhood swimming pool open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Natural sunlight streams into the living space through floor to ceiling A-frame windows, with plenty of seating for the entire family. Turn on your gas fireplace and unwind after a long, fun filled day of making memories with loved ones. Perhaps a soak in the 6 person hot tub on the deck, or enjoy some downtime in one of the jacuzzi tubs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all cookware and utensils needed for all of your home cooked meals your family desires.

The cabin has sleeping capacity for 15, guests have a choice of two Kings, two queens, a pull-out twin couch, 2 regular couches and a 3 twin bunk beds (6 twin beds).

We ALL LOVED the House!! Absolutely Perfect for us All!! The ONLY drawback was for Me & the last mile to the house was horrific because I have SUCH a fear of heights!! Didn’t bother anyone else but me! I had to close my eyes Everytime I went up or down! BUT all the grands said they wanted to Go Back to THAT house so I’ll just have to close my eyes and Pray the next time!

This place was an absolute dream!!! Amazingly clean and well kept, perfectly secluded, and spacious for everyone! Sitting high atop the mountain in the Gated Shagbark Community is the perfect Cabin that seems far from town but is only a few miles away! If u want an amazing place to stay then look no further. Has everything you need to stay in and relax!! PS the Bear came right through the back yard!!

Perfect family retreat

We had a family vacation with four generations . This home was perfect for everyone. The home allowed everyone to have their own bedroom, bathroom and privacy. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor deck watching the sunsets. The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit with our group. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed.The location was perfect for visiting local attractions. The owner was very responsive to all my questions. Chris provided a video of the home and drive to the cabin. He also provided local information and suggestions for our trip. I highly recommend this home for your next trip to the Smokey Mountains. Thank you Chris for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

The cabin was beautiful and so spacious! The kids loved having their own area downstairs, especially the cute playhouse under the steps. The host was super nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

A MUST STAY!

This is the BEST house that we’ve ever stayed in!! We’ve always had one or multiple things not right in the houses we’ve stayed in, but not this one! It was spotless which is rare and the furnishings were tasteful and beautiful. The views are to die for. Just gorgeous. It is a must stay!

Spectacular getaway

We had such a great time at the cabin. The owners were very responsive. We had 4 veteran families come together and was more than enough room. The cabin had everything we needed, plus more. We have been already talking about coming back out to this place. We did 2 nights, but will definitely do 3-4 nights next time. Fully recommended this place to anyone looking for a getaway.

The house was very comfortable. We had multiple bear sightings. A gas grill on the deck would have been nice. There were plenty of activities for the children that were offered.

Great property! Plenty of space for our large group. Easy communication with Cary, Chris and Corinne, who graciously answered all of our questions fully and promptly. And they're not kidding about the bears. Saw three different ones while there, which made the kids exceptionally happy! Definitely recommend this wonderful home!

Ripken Pigeon Forge Week-Long Stay

Family Vacation

Many different family members converged here for a week of relaxation and boy was it. The views are breathtaking and it's so peaceful. They have everything you need there, so just pack a car full of groceries and you will be set for a restful week away. I would definitely recommend and like to go back. The owner was very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful location! Great Host!

Great home that sleeps a lot of people! Beautiful spot in the mountains in a great neighborhood. Chris, the host, is extremely responsive and was helpful when we needed something. Open floor plan made it easy to move about. The windows provide a beautiful way to see nature. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap towns located near by. The big porch had a lot of seating and worked out great for eating outside, lots of tables (but wear your shoes as the wood is dry and our kids got a lot of splinters). The community areas for kids to play in were beautifully kept and had balls for all the sports!

Awesome Family Getaway

This was as good as advertised. We had 15 in our family and the place was so roomy and had amazing views. Everything about the house and property was perfect and we had zero issues. Chris and his wife were quick to answer questions and help us if he had anything we needed. 10/10 would do it again!

Family Vacation

The Cabin and property were exactly as advertised. The Cabin was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We loved the fact that each bedroom had a private bath; except the bunk room. We often found our 7 year old tucked away in the play area underneath the stairs, either reading or gaming. Our hosts Chris and Corinne were very helpful with our questions. We enjoyed our visit and the cabin was perfect for our needs!

PERFECT GETAWAY!

This property is all that it claims and more. This was our third trip to the area in the last year and this property was hands down our favorite. Something to do for all ages and my grandchildren loved playing on the huge deck. And Chris the property owner was amazing to work with. We are already planning our next trip back for next year.

My wife (Corinne) and I are from Tennessee. I grew up in Sevier County and she is from the Nashville area. We love meeting and hosting people and spending relaxing weekends at the cabin. We also have a historic Victorian house we renovated in Knoxville.

We love the beautiful sunsets from this cabin and the comfort of this neighborhood. We also love the safety of having a 24 hour security gate. About 50% of the cabins in the neighborhood are long term private residences, so it creates a more comfortable local feel vs a big touristy complex.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cabin was built by a family over the course of 4 years. The husband loved designing the place and picking out different woods for the stairs, floor, doors, window casings, etc. He was very passionate about building the place to last and have character. The cabin has great insulation and so much peacefulness about it and the property.
