A beautifully appointed house on a quiet, safe street close to a big city.Comfortably fit our family of six. Nice ammenities for kids outside and some games inside. Twenty to forty minutes into the city by car, depending on traffic. Carmel, the host, is responsive and easy to work with.

The property itself was very beautiful and well kept. The only disappointment was not being able to use the washer and dryer. For the price of the stay I really feel that a washer and dryer should be made available to their guest whether there were laundromats close by or not.

Fantastic House

Our family was in NY for a wedding and the house was perfect for 7 adults. It’s very clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds and the nice bathrooms. Carmel was great to work with. Also appreciated the coffee station with some pods to get us started. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is a dream house

We did not want to leave this extraordinary home after my daughter's graduation weekend. My elderly parents and siblings stayed here with my brother's two young children and had an unforgettable time enjoying this beautifully refurbished, impeccably styled house. Carmel is the loveliest and most patient host. I wish we could be her neighbor! Enjoy, but save some days for us because we want to come back!

Family trip

Went to NY to celebrate my sister’s birthday and could have not asked for a better property to stay at. Beautifully decorated had everything we needed and the extra welcome touch was much appreciated. The communication between us and the owner was amazing. Would definitely recommend it and if we go back would stay at this property

Beautiful and well appointed

This house is beautiful with lovely bathrooms, nice kitchen and TV room. It is too far from the subway to walk so you either have to get the bus or an Uber. In the end, we did the latter. A few things to note: guests are not allowed to use the washing machine or dryer adults are not allowed to use the outside space, the house has little noise insulatiodifficult.

Excellent house

We were family members in town for a wedding. This house was all we could want and more. Location is excellent. Very modern, clean and up to date. Everything worked. Baths and kitchen very modern. Beds very comfortable. Would definitely choose this again.

Wonderful Experience!

What a great find this house is! It was newly updated, immaculate and very nicely appointed! There were 4 adults staying there for 4 nights, we each had our own room and all the beds were really comfortable! The kitchen is very nice and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient to NYC, we took Metro North and it was a 30 minute ride to Grand Central. Carmel is very nice and accommodating and very helpful with suggestions and any questions you may have. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We highly recommend staying here!

Perfect in every way

Stayed with my family for 6 days and it was perfection! This was our first time traveling with my 6 month old and I was a bit anxious but the place was beautiful, clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Carmel brought over a high chair for us, and some crib sheets, which was very thoughtful. We initially debated staying in the city but this was by far the better choice! You can’t get anything like this in the 5 boroughs (and this was literally a hop, skip and jump from the Bronx anyway). Would definitely stay again.

Not lost in Yonkers

The house was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well appointed. We were a large group of friends celebrating a 60th birthday and exploring NYC. The house is convenient to the bus then subway to take you into town. Carmel was a great host with lots of helpful suggestions and always responded quickly to my many questions. The house is located in a safe area, close to a good grocery store and there are a number of local pubs and restaurants to enjoy close by. We saved a fortune by staying in this beautiful house in Yonkers, as hotel prices in Manhattan are through the roof. It's a bit of commute to the city, but the subway is part of the experience. (This subway line also stops at Yankee Stadium if you're taking in a baseball game.) I recommend buying the unlimited bus/subway pass for a week so that you don't have to mess around with endless tickets and the bus only takes cash. The house met our needs nicely and was perfect for our large group. I definitely recommend it.

NYC Girl's Trip

We chose this property because of its proximity to NYC, and hey, look at the pictures! The home is beautiful and comfortable. We had so much fun but have so much more we would like to do in NYC. When we visit again, we will definitely stay here again.

Family reunion

Carmel provides many thoughtful touches such as a first aid kit, which turned out to be very useful as we were traveling with a 3 and 5 year old. The play equipment in the backyard was an extra bonus. Other family live in the area and we stayed a week so we could spend time together. This home was very comfortable for an extended stay.

NY Golf Trip

This house is fantastic. It’s been recently remodeled with high end finishes and is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is great for hanging out and enjoying some bites and drinks or cooking a meal. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Carmel the owner was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this amazing NY home if you’re visiting the area.

Perfect Home Away From Home

We loved our stay and it served as the perfect home base and respite from our adventures in NYC. We were in town with family for our son's baseball games and graduation from Columbia University. We wish we found this property his freshman year. Carmel was a very responsive host and gave us great local restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Gem in Yonkers

Loved the property from the moment we got there! Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed from a crib, high chair, several TV options, a play area in the backyard and ample space for us to eat as a family. Great bathrooms with heated floors- everyone really loved that feature!!!! Very close to grocery store and some restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!

Home base for family wedding

The house looks exactly like the pictures, newly renovated and very nicely decorated. All 7 members of our extended family who stayed were comfortable and impressed. The Acme supermarket and Dunkin' Donuts are right around the corner, and the pizza from Sophia's was also great! Our 7-year-old daughter loved the trampoline in the back yard, too!

Clean comfortable stay!

Great stay all around! Clean, comfortable, well decorated, large space for us to be together as a group. Quick walk to the grocery store. We had a great experience. Would highly recommend!
