The location is beautiful and the house is amazing. We had a great time. Loved being on the lake and having a nice view. The house was very comfortable and so many activities to do. Will definitely come back.

Too cool for the pool this time of year. Kitchen, accommodations, seating, view, all were excellent. The birds were wonderful to see. The museum and town of Lakeport worth the trip. The state park on the south side of the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed our visit.

Very lovely home to relax with your family

Tim and Stacy were great . We checked in with no problems and they were very welcoming. The house was clean and there was plenty to do! We would definitely come back for a second vacation.

Fun getaway for young and old!

Our family had a blast at Sunset Place in Clearlake Oaks! We enjoy the many indoor and outdoor activities. The lake is a beautiful location to relax or get out on the water. A wonderful getaway for our family, ages 8-70. Tim and Stacy are the perfect hosts! Thank you for sharing your beautiful and comfy home with us!

Perfect way to spend time with family

The property was well-maintained. It’s right on the water so it gave us front row seats to the Clearlake wildlife. We saw flocks of cranes and pelicans, and a few otters running around too. The peddle boats, ping pong table and Street Fighter arcade game to kept the family entertained. Check-in was easy and check-out instructions were simple to follow. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Peaceful getaway

Excellent lakefront getaway. The house and property are exactly as pictured. We loved the pedal boat and the Ping-Pong in the garage. My mornings were especially peaceful, enjoying coffee on the back patio while watching nature come alive—an otter family even swam by each day. Very relaxing and exactly what we needed.

Sunset place

The house was great, well equipped and was in a convenient location in the keys. Plenty of parking for the truck and boat trailer. We fished every day, enjoyed the view from the back patio and watched the boats come in each evening. The dock was very easy to use and there was charging available for the bass boat batteries.

Exciting family vacation on the water with a pool

My family and had a wonderful vacation at this lake front home. We really appreciated how close the access to the dock and lake was as we are a big water sports family. My son and grandchildren really enjoyed the paddle boats and fishing from the dock. The home was exceptionally clean and organized. I wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to coming back next year.

Right on the lake

This was a boys trip to compete in a fishing tournament. Amazing place to stay, right on the water!! The boy's caught catfish right from the dock (big ones). The place was perfectly located, gorgeous inside and out!! Relaxing, peaceful and comfortable!! Easy check and out…GREAT communication with the owners!!! We can’t say enough about how wonderful this stay was!!

Perfect family getaway

It's always difficult planning vacations that entertain people of all ages. Our group included kids aged 3 months - 19 years old. This place was perfect! Being on the canal so close to the lake made it easy to keep the boat and jet skis readily available, which made the adults and older kids happy. The small pool in the back yard was great for the little kids, they LOVED it! The hosts are amazing, very responsive and seem to really care about making our stay enjoyable. We are so happy and grateful we found this place, highly recommend.

Beautiful Relaxing Views

We had a wonderful stay. It is hard to get my family together but we did it. The views were amazing!!! We spent a lot of time Playing Games - Swimming - Going out in the Paddle Boats - Playing Ping Pong - Watching Movies. We went a rented Jet Skies for the day. It is a perfect house just to relax and to have fun family time. Tim and Stacy are great hosts and did a perfect job decorating and providing everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely go back.

Little piece of lakeside serenity

We had such a wonderful time at Tim & Stacy’s Sunset Place. The house was clean & comfortable & stocked with basic essentials. Direct access to the lake & so much to keep our group occupied, indoors & outdoors. We were greeted each morning & throughout the day with peaceful sounds of wildlife around us. The neighborhood was very quiet, you’d hardly know anyone else was there. Tim & Stacy were very kind & responsive before, during & after our trip. They were even gracious enough to accommodate an earlier check-in & later check out, which was very much appreciated. We’d definitely book with them again.

This house had it all and led to a very enjoyable stay. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and everything you need to make meals. Some spices, all utensils and dishes. Had pool towels and life jackets. The amazing hosts Tim and Stacy have really thought of everything. They were extremely attentive to any questions or concerns we had. A hosts for sure!Location was beautiful on the lake with a dock and paddle boats. Game room and pool was a hit with the kids (and adults too!) Sunsets and the full moon rise on the lake was spectacular.Clean, tastefully decorated and well appointed home. We had a great time and hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful House with Awesome Views

If you're looking for a house on the lake, look no further. This house has it all. Beautiful house with scenic views of the lake, game room, pedal boats, kayak and good place to fish off the dock. If you're a bird watcher then is the place with so many different types of birds always flying by. Bass fishing was a little slow the days we went, so Tim the host recommended trying nightcrawlers for catfish. That really worked, we landed 5 catfish with a couple over 10 pounds. Tim and Stacy are very accommodating, always making sure everything was going good. We had a great time and are looking forward to staying here again.

Great Lake House with dock & view

Sunset Place Lake House is appropriately named and accurately described - a beautiful home with incredible views and sunsets that made for a wonderful long weekend. Although it was cold we boated the lake, watched the Warriors game & home movies and BBQ’d. it was a great quality time for our adult children and us. The houses many little touches and fun activities made it so inviting. The only downside is it’s pretty far from the boat rental place if you don’t have your own boat. Although we don’t fish, there were MANY people fishing out on the lake near us and they said the fishing was great.

Great Lake side location

We booked for our spring break and couldn’t be happier with the house! From the moment we walked through the front door and saw the unobstructed view of the lake we knew we chose the right house! Very well stocked with more the basics and some! We spent Easter there and was impressed with the extras I ended up needing, like a meat thermometer. I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and it’s disappointing when they aren’t stocked well. So appreciated all the extras. Plenty of towels and blankets, the house was spotless and very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful home and gorgeous location

Tim and Stacy have such a beautiful home and lovely property with stunning views! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the rain the majority of our stay which was just over a week. The boys were able to get out one day and enjoy the paddle boat during a break in rain. The backyard is open and inviting! We loved the fire pit accompanied by the beautiful views of the lake along with the many birds and wildlife living on the lake. We got to see so much activity daily from the birds and even saw otters on the neighbors dock. The home has a great open floor plan which worked well for our family traveling with our daughter who’s disabled and in a wheelchair. We did have a few steps to navigate to get into the home and out to the patio but we’re able to manage our daughters chair up and down them easily (we knew about the steps before booking). We definitely look forward to hopefully staying again when we’re visiting the area in the future!
