Enjoy outdoor activities & downtown festivities. Peaceful, quiet retreat nestled in the woods, ideal place to relax & recharge. Located in Aska Adventure, 1/2 mi to deeded access to Toccoa River for fishing, near canoe launch & trails galore including AT. About 15 miles to DT Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Lake Blue Ridge & Nottley, tubing, wineries, orchards, & more. Away from it all; but, close to everything. Huge screened porch, hot tub, fire pit, comfy beds, & cozy decor make this the perfect getaway.
The space
Welcome to Snoring Bear Den! Escape the every day on the screened porch that spans the entire length of the house and looks out into the lush yard frequented by wildlife. Whether from the premium 7-person hot tub, twin swing bed, comfy sofa, or rocking chairs, watch for furry visitors with your favorite book and beverage or simply enjoy the silence.

End your days with a home cooked meal in the fully-supplied kitchen open to the living room and front porch. When the sun sets, roast marshmallows in the fire pit, relax in the brand new hot tub, or cozy up next to the fire on the couch. (firewood provided). And finally, retreat to the comfort of the bedrooms with new curtains, brand new mattresses, and plush bedding with a fuzzy blanket to top it all off so you can feel rested and recharged for another day of adventures or returning to your day to day.

We love our little hideaway at the Snoring Bear Den and hope you do too!

This was a cozy, cute cabin in the woods! The description is as described. The place was very clean. The king bed was comfy, and the additional throw blankets were a nice touch, especially for cool mornings on the porch. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Be aware that there is no dishwasher. No biggie if you eat out most of the time. We would love to stay here again if in the area.

The cabin was wonderful. Very clean just as it said in explanation. We truly enjoyed our stay and the granddaughter was thrilled over the deer all through the woods.

Wonderful Getaway

I was intrigued by the porch swing bed, and it was just a nice as I hoped. We could lounge out there and even watch the deer that showed up each day. The hot tub and all the other amenities were great as well. Plenty of games in the closet too.I only wish we had another couple of days we could have spent there.

Wonderful location with quiet neighborhood. Check-in was easy and responsive host who was flexible and gracious. Great bed and kitchen was equipped with some extra items which were nice. Screen porch bonus but needed some repairs in screen here and there. Well water fine but we hauled in drinking water for taste issues.

This cabin was nice on the inside. The overall impression from our stay is this property suffers from a lack of attention to details. It advertised "soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided". There were three shampoos, no soap, no conditioner. The shower curtain liner is stained at the bottom and gives the feeling of uncleanliness. The 200 cleaning fee seems excessive when the cabin has thick dust on the ceiling fan blades and shelves in the bedrooms. There is a very large eroded spot across the driveway that can damage a small car if trying to cross it? We were told to be out by 10:00 A.M. but the information inside the cabin stated 11:00 A.M. The hot tub had small brown pieces of something floating around in the water. A window screen setting on the ground and was propped up against the house under the kitchen window. When we took the trash out (again, what is the 200 cleaning fee for if we are cleaning) to the collection container, the container was full of trash so that our bag would hardly fit into the container. So, as far as the stay, it was quite, relaxing, the bed was comfortable, the cabin is decorated well and cozy. But, the attention to detail is sorely lacking which takes away from our experience. Not terrible but not great........just okay. The value is less than the price. A little bit of maintenance and more thorough cleaning would make it great!

Favorite part was the porch swing I was willing to just stay in it the whole time. Hot tub was a good size and everything was well maintained, clean and cozy. Ashley I need to know where you found those small sponges for the sink lol. Close enough to towns but far enough to be peaceful and quiet.
