Paradise in the woods, this custom home features the owner’s hand crafted woodwork, including doors, countertops, trim and some furnishings. There is a large deck with sounds of the creek below, two acres of natural beauty and privacy. Local to Helen or Dahlonega GA, or Cleveland Ga,Five wineries within 3 miles. The home is Located nine miles from Helen, Georgia; a unique German adventure town with restaurants and shopping. The area offers great hiking trails including Appalachian Trail, Mt Yonah, and Herbert Byron Reese. Gorgeous waterfalls at Dukes Creek, Anna Ruby, Helton Falls and Vogel State Park.
This is a 2 bedroom PLUS a queen sleeper sofa, sleeps six, with 2 bathrooms. This is a newly renovated home, with new kitchen cabinets, mini split A/C in each room, high speed internet wifi and Netflix, one TV in Living room, gas fireplace and BBQ grill for your convenience. You will LOVE IT! This is a new listing so we are available for you to make it your own personal getaway year round. Amenities include air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, gas fireplace, gas grill outdoors, toaster oven and all you will need to prepare meals at home.

Enjoyed Our Stay

The house was comfortable and convenient to many wineries and the local Ingles grocery store. The listing accurately described the amenities. Beds were comfortable and kitchen is fairly well stocked.

The location and home was wonderful

The house was so clean and the location very convenient! Was disappointed about not knowing how far the creek was from the property and not knowing how I was supposed to leave the premises with regard to towels, bedding, etc. so I just did what I have done with other vrbo homes.. it was a a little bit eyesore when you arrived as there was abandoned cars in the yard.. but the house was wonderful .. I think it would be helpful if the owner would make clear paths to the creek and have an area where you can set and enjoy the creek!

Very enjoyable

Our family loved the creek, though we didn’t see any trout in it. The cabin is great and the custom woodwork is beautiful. Very comfy beds. It was especially nice that there were staples available like coffee for the morning after arrival.

Great stay.

The property was just as advertised. Secluded and private but easy to find. It was very clean and ready when we arrived. Allen responds very quick and was very helpufl through the entire process. It was a quick 10 minute drive to Helen. Great location will definitely be staying again. Perfect for a couple getawy or small family trip.

Perfect For Us

To summarize, my husband and I do plan to vacation in this beautiful area of Georgia again, and we will definitely choose this property! The house was cozy, clean and well stocked. The location suited us very well, private yet convenient to our daily excursions. We loved having our coffee on the porch, very peaceful surroundings…We even saw a few deer in the woods!

Nice and Cozy

This was a perfect getaway for our little family. Everything was perfect, we enjoyed the fire pit and the little stream, didn't catch anything, but experiences were made and relaxation. We enjoyed going over to Helen and having everything conveniently located for us. We will definitely be back! No cell service unless you are connected to Wifi at the house; this was also a plus. We enjoyed family game nights and a nice fire!

Charming and lovely

I stayed with my mother and aunt as we were in the area helping my aunt move out of her home. The location couldn’t have been better for what we needed as my aunt lives in the rural area just 1.5 miles from the home. And there are many beautiful vineyards to visit and enjoy (which we did!). The home is well equipped with all the necessary items to make meals. It also was nice to have the Netflix logged in with a guest profile - we could relax in the evening with a show. The owners were easy to access via text, the wifi was strong and fast, and the whole place is beautifully decorated! I hope to come back some day!

Cute but uncomfortable

The house was cute, the beds, furniture extremely uncomfortable. The access to the river was not easy. Half of the lights didn't work or couldn't find the right switches to turn them on. The back yard had a lot of junk and was offputting. We had fun in town but back at the house was not too relaxing. The property owner, however, was great with our concerns and took to heart.

Cute place

We really liked this place, was perfect for our family. Very Clean and well decorated. Has everything you need, plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, toothbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, trashbags. We were very happy. My son enjoyed having the speaker, and both kids loved having Netflix and all the streaming capabilities. The only downside for us was not having local channels, so we missed the big games on Saturday we were looking forward to watching. Rooms are big, but do not have TV's in them. We had trouble working the heating and air, but were able to get help from the owner. We were very happy with everything else.

YOURE NOT GOING TO FIND A BETTER PLACE IN CLEVELAND!!! JUST BOOK IT!

First of all, I’m so happy my husband booked this house. It is a beautiful home totally rustic on the outside and totally modern chic on the inside. Kitchen was a dream to cook in! Washer and Dryer and all appliances work fantastically. Above and beyond what we expected! You will not only have access to a beautiful 2story home in the woods but you’ll also have a beautiful place to grill and eat outside, a garden, a path that leads to a gorgeous creek that you can hike and a fire pit custom built by owner where you and friends can hang all day and night comfortably! Family owned and run. Any need is a text / phone call away. Excellent, kind and professional hosts! We had such a great time here we extended our stay and will book this home again and again as we frequent GA. This place has little hidden gems for the kids too! If you can find it, like we did- one magical summer night we flipped a switch and BAM! Giant Christmas Tree right outside!!! Our kids went crazy over this💕🎄! Book this place if you can!!!! The place is exceptional! Thank you so much, Alan! PS: Alan makes incredible wood works! We got a BEAUTIFUL handmade cutting board! He is a remarkable craftsman!! I have so many pictures to post!

Don’t stay here

We arrived on Friday the 21first we didn’t even unpack. We went into Helen and found a room for the night and drove back home Saturday morning.
