Inaccurate listing, would not stay again.

Summary: The listing is not accurate, if you read the prior negative reviews you will get a much more accurate impression of what to expect. This VRBO is mediocre at best and I would not stay again nor recommend.Pros: Location was convenient and the VRBO gets the job done if you need a place to stay and have low expectations. Host is responsive but more on that in “Cons” section. Cons: -Host is responsive but defensive in communication which was off-putting. Spa was not heating and the host had my mother contact the repairman who told her he wasn’t available. Another repair company was contacted and to resolve the issue he shut down the waterfall and jets which meant the water wasn’t cycling between spa and pool. I informed the host there may still be an issue and she became argumentative when my intent was to inform her so they could repair for future guests. (This is noted in other reviews as an issue but Tanisha didn’t want to hear it.)-There is no welcome packet with information on how to work things or how to clean up before checkout.-Most outlets and light switches don’t work.-Broken glass, tiles and garbage around property-Aesthetically, holes in walls and chipped paint everywhere. TLC would go a long way.-Sheets are worn and remind me of something you’d see in a college dorm.-Privacy is questionable and I suspect the host was listening in to our conversations via security cameras when the listing went from “Luxury” to “Cozy” after comments we made.

Great Weekend Get Away!

We stayed here for 3 nights after getting off a cruise to just relax by the pool before traveling home. The house was very nice and the pool and view of the lake is excellent!! We had a couple things not working but the property manager responded immediately and figured out remedies.

Perfect!

The house was clean and comfortable. Loved having the pool table, foosball table, pool and jacuzzi! When we had trouble getting the temp right and reached out to the owner, we heard back immediately. Loved our stay!

Family stay

This is a good house for short stays and larger gatherings however improvements could be made for longer family stays. The pool was great, nice and warm however the deck does get very slippery when wet so be careful with little ones. Lots of shopping and great parks in the area, great community splash pad and awesome tennis courts. The house is described as Luxurious however could use some TLC. The closet doors are all falling off, the towel holders have all been ripped off the walls so no hand towels just paper towel in the bathrooms and very minimal dish-ware (only four spoons, no mixing bowls, taped mixing spoons, etc.) The linens and towels provided were not great, sheets constantly pulling off the beds and the towels are rather small, not what we expected for a “luxurious” home. The floors and middle washroom could have also used additional cleaning before our arrival, our feet were quickly black from the tile flooring. The host was friendly and usually fast to respond.

Lakefront rental

The rental was just like the listing. Our host was super accommodating and replied very quickly to all communications. The interior was spacious and clean. The pool area offers incredible views day and night. The lights in the pool were a nice touch, although it was a little too cold for us to swom!

Good place in a good neighborhood

I could not find the temperature control for the hot tub, but then again I didn’t have much time to use it anyway. House was great and even caught a couple snakeheads and peacock bass from the lake in the backyard. However, three or four days prior to checkin VRBO erroneously refunded my money and I had no place to stay. Fortunately we were able to get the situation resolved.

Very Nice Propeety

The property is beautiful. A great home for family gatherings and fun. We rented the home for a family bbq, Tanisha was an exceptionally nice and professional host. Very attentive and reachable. I would give 5 stars but the bathrooms and kitchen weren’t the cleanest. We had to go through the home inspecting and did a few touch ups but it wasn’t filthy or unclean by normal standards. Highly recommend, very great experience.
