Located walking distance to Downtown DG restaurants, the location is spectacular. You'll love the open concept kitchen and dining room. In the back of the home, you'll feel so relaxed in the the spacious living room with stunning vaulted ceilings. Turn on the electric fireplace and relax. You will feel like you've walked into a cabin.

Great home and location

Overall, this place was perfect for us! Very clean, comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need if you want to cook and eat in this home. Blaine was great work with and made it very easy for us to check in since out flight was a late night arrival. Also easy check out! Home is in a great neighborhood for walking and even a food options in walking distance. Grocery and other needs are all very close too. We would rent this home again when we return to the area for our family.

Escape from the Arizona hear

It is a comfortable home and the owner/manager was extremely quick to reply and resolve a couple of minor issues we had. Very convenient to downtown Downers and lots of eating and shopping.

Clean, cozy home in the suburbs

This home is clean, updated, comfortable and well-appointed! The neighborhood is quiet and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. The spaces are attractive and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious, with quality mattresses and extra blankets available. The basement is finished and offers a larrge bathroom and lounging space. The host is helpful and very responsive. My only notes are that the photos of the kitchen had given me the impression there was seating for 8, when in reality the space is more compact, and additional lighting in the main level living room would be helpful on winter evenings.

Christmas Get Away

I loved the coziness of this property. It had everything I needed to enjoy Christmas with my family as I live in another state. The kitchen was fully equipped as well as plenty of blankets and towels. It had a really nice fenced backyard if you have a dog. The location was perfect less than a mile from downtown Downers and close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. Communication with the owner was easy and response was quick. I would definitely stay again.

Awesome…beyond expectations

Ours was an extended stay. The home was very clean, well decorated and extremely functional. The owner Blaine was very responsive prior and during our stay. He also went above and beyond by making some accommodations to our special requests. If we find ourselves in this area again and needing a place to stay, this home will be our first choice!

Great Home Base for Sightseeing in Chicago!

This house was the perfect fit for our family of 5 (boys ages 9, 13 and 16). It is updated and impeccably clean. It was great to be able to stretch out and have room for everyone to have their own beds. The couch is very comfortable and the kitchen provided seating for everyone. The basement is finished so nicely with extra beds, a living room and laundry room that really came in handy. It was a great place for us to come back to after non stop visits in the city at all of the museums. We were tired each day and this place felt like coming home. What a perfect house.

Everything about our stay was great! House was beautiful and a nice sized back yard. Great location to stay at for visiting Downers Grove, Oak Brook, and downtown Chicago. Blaine answered any of our questions promptly and we will definitely be staying here on our next visit to see our son.

We loved staying here! It was beautiful and we especially loved that there’s a fenced in yard that was a very good sized. There were a lot of places within walking distance to get food as well. Really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for any size group

This is a Beautiful well maintained home. We had 6 people, of which there was only one couple. There was plenty of room for all of us to each have oir own space to sleep. The family room was comfortable and homey. The home is located on a quiet street in a very nice area. Im trying to think of another trip to take so we can visit again. Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay at this incredible Downers Grove home. Everyone in our group kept talking about how gorgeous the place looked and how much space we had! Highly recommend booking a stay. Blaine was so quick and easy to work with and we had a blast!

Great layout for a family

Looks can be deceiving. The house was spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, conveniently located and quiet. Especially appreciated the Keurig coffee maker. The premises were clean and the host was super. All told it was the perfect stay for the ten of us.

Great place!

The house was clean and in nice shape and up to date. It worked so well for our needs and was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and had plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. I would stay there again!
