Great Home in Small Town

This house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone that was going to this area!

Great Home in a Great Town

Joan was fantastic, she addressed all of our questions quickly and provided much information prior to and during our stay in Concordia. The house was beautiful, within walking distance of the entire town, and only 4 mins from the main street. Great house, host and town.

We loved our stay and Judy was a wonderful host. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked great and the home was sparkling clean! Looks like pictures. Highly recommend!

Great kitchen

Our main necessity for this stay was to provide homemade dessert for a unit party. Served 6 separate dishes to over 200 people with ease in this kitchen! Beds and bathroom were a bonus!!

Relaxing, quiet little getaway with ample space.

The house was beautifully decorated and is located in a quiet little town. We spent most evenings sitting in the front yard under a beautiful old tree in the comfy patio chairs. The home is well furnished and was perfect for our weekend getaway. We also recommend trying the local Mexican restaurant El Patron, it was fantastic. Thank you Joan for sharing your family home with us.

Perfect Stay for Street Fair & Reunion

This is a great house! We’ll be back! Very clean, comfortable beds, great shower, nicely equipped kitchen. We were able to walk to street fair/Main Street. Location was quiet. Great communication for check in/out process. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you!

Great Stay!

We stayed at this property the weekend of our nephew’s wedding. The location was perfect! It was a few blocks from the church, close to the interstate, walking distance to 1832 distillery, and walking distance tothe downtown area with restaurants and bars. The house was very clean and fit our group perfectly. It was so nice to come into the home and there were teas and chocolates there for us. There was a binder there with a lot of info about the property and what the expectations of us, as guests needed to be aware of.

Lovely, Comfortable Home

My friend & I enjoyed staying for our annual scrapbooking weekend in this lovely home. We were able to park right by the garage which made unloading our supplies very convenient. No more than two steps to go up from any exterior door. Joan thoughtfully left keys for the back door so we were able to go in & out through the back door right to our car. The house is very nicely decorated and the beds are super comfortable. We loved the guestbook which tells the story of the house and its remodel. This is a wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful Time

Really enjoyed our stay. The home was cute and clean. It was nice to walk in and just have to sit our bags down. May need a few more large spoons or kitchen supplies for those who like to cook. I'd packed my own so worked out fine. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. The town is small but nice for walking around and quick from the home to the main street. Plenty of things to do in many directions, such as buy apples, cheese, jams, etc., taking 10 to 20 min to drive.

Wonderful remodeled home

Beautiful, quaint home that the owners have remodeled in Concordia. Quiet neighborhood about an hour west of Columbia. We stayed here for Mizzou homecoming weekend as our daughter was coming from Nebraska. Would highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem

First, let me address something that is always important to me: This is a safe area. It's a quiet, well-kept, residential neighborhood with little traffic. It's also within easy driving distance to everything Concordia has to offer. And Concordia is an EXCELLENT place to stop for the night if you're traveling I-70! It's just the right size and you'll find everything you need: excellent, affordable restaurants, cute local shops, and a beautiful playground where the kids can burn off some energy. Joan's home, specifically, is exactly what we needed to get some rest. The furnishings were comfortable and the house was immaculately clean. We found everything that we needed and more. Plus, it's beautifully decorated! Joan was immediately available to answer our questions and we were thrilled to have a garage to park in. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're passing through.

I still remember when my folks built this house in 1958. I was 14 years old and recall helping to glue on the 50's green tiles in the bathroom. How the trendy styles and colors have changed! After mom and dad died, I couldn't part with the home and all the good memories. My family and I have recently remodeled the entire living space and are excited to share it with you.
