This lovely 2 bedroom home has just undergone a full renovation. Attention to detail at every corner, from the double headed walk-in shower, or the master bath quiet soaking tub, this space has all of the modern convenience with vintage charm. Brand new appliances in the fully equipped kitchen make cooking your own meals a dream or enjoying takeout from one of Nelson's fabulous restaurants! The yard and garden on this very large lot allows for nice days in the sun or shade. The house has a basement suite with very quiet tenants who are available if anything comes up. Historic downtown Nelson is a 10 min walk down the hill, Beautiful walking, biking or running trails are just minutes from the doorstep on the Rails to Trails. Enjoy all Nelson has to offer with endless winter and summer recreation, exceptional restaurants and pubs, great coffee shops and lovely shopping on the historic Baker St.

Absolutely fantastic remodel on the house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Kitchen is superb. Showers and soaker tub are worth the stay. Very enjoyable stay.

Very homey and attractive home

You can tell a lot of thought, and love, went into making Wrens house a very comfortable and homey place. Kitchen was very well stocked with lots of choice of dishes, cooking equipment, spices, etc. The house was very clean. One of the beds was quite hard, and Wren was willing to look for a solution. People that like firm beds may find it ok.We did not use the outside area, but there is a little balcony and barbecue.All in all a very nice day in a safe neighbourhood fairly close to town.

We had a great time. We cooked in a lot, and the kitchen worked well. The bed was comfy, and it helped to have fans available since there was a unique heat wave during our stay.You might check out the shower situation, using some of the faucets caused me to have to mop the floor. All in all it was a good stay

Confortable, grand et propre

Nous avons adoré rester dans ce logement. C’était très grand et propre. Les lits sont confortables et c’est très bien décoré. Il y avait tout ce que nous avions besoin, incluant des serviettes de plage et robes de chambre. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison mais en mieux. Très bien situé, parfait pour faire du vélo de montagne aux alentours.Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Visited with 2 daughters who live in Nelson. House is close to one of theirs. Little grandkids came to stay with us. House is very comfortable & well equipped. Easy to get around area .

Home away from home

I cannot say enough great things about our Xtra stay here ! This place truly was a home away from home ! Very clean, cozy and so functional for relaxing, cooking , sleeping , the bathrooms are amazing. The location was perfect! Such a quiet area with beautiful scenery! We played many games at the kitchen table, cooked lots of meals inside and out and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside on the deck! I highly recommend this place and truly hope we get the pleasure of staying here again ! Also there were chocolates, beautiful fresh flowers and cold seltzers when we arrived! quiet area

Perfect Spot for Us

We named the property "Minty House". Not just because of the color, but it was a refreshing stay for our family. Nelson, in and of itself, was great. We'd come back for sure. But the city and region side, when I asked my 6 year old son what he liked best about the house he mentioned the time spent playing Settlers of Catan and watching a movie. He also loved the double shower, lol, of all the things. After full days out and about, the home was really comfortable. The ideal size and location for our family of 3. The renovations are beautiful, the location was quiet but close to all the amenities and restaurants we wanted to visit. We'd 100% recommend this VRBO for any of our small family friends or couples. Thank you Wren!

Very nicely renovated home. It was very clean and cozy. Well stocked with kitchen needs and spices. Beds were super comfortable and linens and towels were plenty. Quiet area and easy distance to get to places. Wren was excellent with communications, and on top of things. Thanks for the stay!

Hotel level extras!

Wren's house is full of little luxuries that I wouldn't expect from a vacation rental - eg robes, decadent body lotions and soaps, candles, towels galore, fresh flowers, netflix account ready to use.... and many more home comforts. My two teenage kids and I had a relaxing five days here, great location for exploring Nelson. No sounds from the renters below, very quiet street, and the house is immaculately clean. Highly recommend.
