Well equipped and fully inventoried kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. Large bathroom with relaxing two person spa with shower over and complimentary toiletries, north and south porches set in private gardens for al fresco dining or a quiet glass of local wine. Brilliant place for a couple to stay. Clean and good in every way. The stone building provides great heat insulation. The outside temperature during our stay was in the 40’s C. Inside we used minimal AC. The cottage stayed very comfortably cool.

Great short stay

The property was very well presented, quirky and inviting. It contained everything that we needed. Love the open fire. It’s well situated - quiet but close to the main Centre - and we loved our stay.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Penola is a beautiful village and great base for exploring the region. And Sarah's Cottage is a lovingly preserved part of its history, artfully presented. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door and see a vase of flowers freshly picked from the garden.
