Casa "Don Cardón" es una impresionante casa de estilo contemporáneo completamente nueva, situada en el barrio más deseable de Las Tunas, a 3 millas al norte del Distrito Histórico de Todos Santos, rodeada de un paisaje virgen del desierto, con impresionantes vistas del Océano Pacífico y Sierra de la Laguna.

La casa está a solo 5 minutos a pie de la playa (0. 4 millas) y la laguna (ideal para la observación de aves), la costa virgen es ideal para pescar o caminar, las playas de natación y surf están muy cerca. Dos millas al norte es un surf de clase mundial "La Pastora". Desde diciembre hasta mediados de marzo es la mejor temporada para observar ballenas, puedes verlas en el patio.

Disfrutará de la sensación de espacio creado por las formas arquitectónicas modernas, y un hermoso patio exterior conectado con la sala de estar, hace un estilo de vida interior / exterior. Grandes ventanales subrayan la belleza ambiental, con vistas desde todos los lugares de la casa. La suite principal tiene cama king con baño grande y terraza privada, un sofá cama doble en la sala de estar con capacidad para 2 personas. La cocina está totalmente equipada con todas las instalaciones y utensilios de cocina. Casa "Don Cardón" es el refugio de vacaciones ideal, el lugar perfecto para relajarse y no hacer nada, o para involucrarse con todas las actividades que se ofrecen en la zona.

Fantastic stay

We had a great week at Casa Cardon. Just enough space from the neighbors but not too remote. Short distance from town and the beach, we were very glad we had a car. The space was perfect for two people. Thank you, Rocco!

Good value rental in Todos Santos

This is a good rental for one or two couples - two king bedrooms with bathrooms quite separate. Wouldn’t work well for families with kids as no washer, dishwasher or TV. Modest indoor spaces but very nice outdoor spaces. Lovely native cactus garden. Great for birdwatching!

Great place in Todos Santos

Rocco's vacation home was a peaceful and convenient home for our group to explore Todos Santos and we have no problem recommending it to others. The BBQ worked well for our evening meal at home (we ate out for the other nights), the hot water was plentiful, the kitchen was reasonably-well appointed and the home was sparkling clean. Note that the house is a bit out of town (but not by much) and you'll want a rental car to travel back and forth. As sometimes happens, we did experience a few issues that Rocco quickly corrected. For instance, the pool had some greenness to it when we arrived and Rocco called the pool maintenance person right away to adjust the chemicals. Thus, we can happily report that Rocco is responsive to the needs of his guests. We would definitely consider renting the house again for future trips.

Photos don't represent situation of property

The photographs clearly show the house as a standalone with no neighbours and conveniently leaves out the fact there is now construction in the adjacent lot. There are properties all around this one now, The window coverings are inadequate, the cistern in the pool room whistles, the pool room can't be locked so you can't leave your property in it. The wifi password cant be deciphered.

Clean, nicely appointed and comfortable.

Phone service and a rental vehicle are a MUST. Just a short drive out of Todo Santos proper, the Casa sits on a small hill facing the ocean. Miguel met us on arrival and filled us in on the property and surrounding area. Hes very pleasant and his english is excellent. The pool between the main house and casita was clean and comfortable. A Stove, Oven, Gas BBQ and ample size refrigerator are there if you choose to eat in. Our visit coincided with Hurricane Norma and the unit(s) held up well in the wind and rain. The short side road up to the property can get a bit sketchy (not dangerous... just not improved). When the weather is clear the view of the Pacific and the sunsets are great. The units are NOT air conditioned so any breeze is welcome. This is not the "big city" but a true Mexican experience. I highly recommend Casa Don Carlos if this is what you're looking for.

A mixed bag

Good things include: Nice views, house layout, pool, casita, grill, comfortable beds. Needs Improvement: No privacy curtains in house or casita, ran out of water for bathing and cleaning, drain clogged in shower, shower towels worn out, inadequate kitchen supplies for those who want to cook in, water leaks in kitchen sink area, coffee pot leaked and on off button only worked intermittently Unfortunate: House was robbed while we were sleeping and we lost cash, speaker,and new Ipad. Ants were a constant nuisance and uncontrollable in the kitchen area. Please note that Miguel the property manager was very helpful after the robbery , took us to the police station and installed safety rods in window/door sliders. Todos Santos is a wonderful place to visit.

Cool house, relaxing stay

This is really unique design, and very relaxing location, north of town and private but super easy to get anything you want locally or going to town. Pool is awesome! Kitchen is well-equipped and the living spaces are comfortable and relaxing to hang out in! Rocco is a wonderful, very responsive host and is very close to the property if anything is needed. A great stay for us on our 25th trip to Mexico.

Peaceful Oasis

Beautiful home, perfect for a small family or two couples. Great showers, open space to hang out... inside and out. The deck and pool area are very especially cozy. Just far enough from the beach that everything wasn't covered in salt, but close enough to hear the crashing waves while failing asleep. The evenings were quiet, with a light cool breeze. Perfect for sleeping. Rocco, the host was attentive and friendly, the perfect host.

Lovely home

Rocco was a wonderful host! Communication was prompt and friendly. The house is beautiful inside and out. This is a perfect place for two couples or families with older kids, as the separate casita with bathroom allows for good privacy from the main house. The shared areas, especially the pool and patio, are well thought out and set up with great outdoor furniture. The living room and kitchen are thoughtfully outfitted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.! Thank you, Rocco!

A fantastic retreat

What a place! We had a magical week here, enjoying vibrant sunrises from one side of the house and stunning sunsets from the other. Every time we looked out at the water, there were whales to be seen. The house is beautiful and well-equipped and Rocco is an excellent and responsive host. The location is convenient to town and beaches while still being a peaceful escape. We hope to visit again, thank you for everything!

Lovely modern house 15 minutes outside Todos Santos

I loved the house - it was clean, uncluttered and modern with everything you need and nothing you don't need. The sunsets from the deck were something else. It sits a 15 minute walk from a huge but rather windswept beach, or you can go 15 minutes drive north to a major surf beach or 20 minutes drive south to the beach club. The immediate area around the house is scrub and the private lane to the house is challenging which together mean that it's very relaxing when you are there.

Beautiful stay

This is a splendid property. The outdoor space is incredible and we greatly enjoyed morning coffee overlooking the serene desert and ocean and watching the stars at night. The location is ideal - close enough to the ocean to walk over to the beach but at a distance so there is a cool breeze. The kitchen is well stocked and water is provided. Rocco is an incredible host. We will be back.

Perfect getaway for nature fans

Casa Don Cardon is a dream! My husband, 21 year-old son and I enjoyed a very relaxing week here. It’s quite near Tortugueros Las Playitas, where we volunteered for the Turtle Rescue. The birds in the field around are fun to watch, Cactus Wrens, and Orioles, and there are GIANT jackrabbits!! The house itself is very comfortable and well designed. We made many great breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen and on the barbecue — and the porch has an ocean sunset view. Bonus — the beach club membership is terrific. We sat in and around the pools and saw dozens on whales nearby in the ocean. Rocco is a Great Host! Easy to work with—beautiful home! We will be back!

Absolutely amazing!

I had an excellent stay at Don Cardon. It's secluded, but close to everything you'd want in Todos Santos. The architecture truly is stunning and the hosts are friendly, courteous, responsive and attentive to your needs. Would stay here again!

Adrienne, thank you for the feedback. I am sorry for the inconvenience with the ants, fortunately it is not always so, only at certain times of the year they become uncontrollable. After all, in a house in the desert, you can spot splendid wild animals, but also other less pleasant inhabitants, it is the beauty of uncontaminated nature.

I consider Debra and David, among the best guests I've ever had. They are real "aficionados" of Casa Don Cardon, it is the fourth time they return and it is always a pleasure to share with them, beautiful moments of relaxation and conversation on the terrace, watching the sunset over the Pacific. They are definitely 5-star guests, highly recommended to other hosts
