Located in a slopeside complex designed by Antoine Predock, your charming condo features abundant Southwestern appeal, amazing natural light, and a luxurious top-floor setting (with no neighbors above). Complimentary firewood, assigned covered parking, and a ski locker at the Hotel St. Bernard provide additional convenience.

Set in the heart of Taos Ski Valley, you're just a short stroll from the lifts and the Bull of the Woods trailhead -- which leads to scenic Wheeler Peak.

LIVING AREA

Double-height ceilings soar in the sun-soaked living area, appointed with a wood-burning stove and a 46” smart TV.

Curl up with a good book in the lofted office, detailed with a sleeper sofa.

KITCHEN & DINING

The sparkling full kitchen is configured with an induction cooktop and helpful gadgets including a coffee maker.

Serve appetizers at the kitchen bar for four, then sit down to a home-cooked meal at the dining table for six.

BED & BATH

This three-level condo sleeps eight guests (six adults and two children under the age of 12) between three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the office.

The first bedroom is furnished with two twin beds that can be converted to a king-sized bed.

The second bedroom features a king bed, a private mountain-view balcony, and a lofted bonus space with two twin beds.

Open to the office below, the lofted third bedroom sports a full-size bed and is partitioned off by a privacy curtain.

One bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate vanity, while the other holds a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Admire the Ski Valley slopes and Rio Hondo from either of your private covered balconies.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, firewood, and an in-unit washer/dryer are provided. (Your home is located in a canyon in the Carson National Forest and is surrounded by mountains. As such, the internet can be unreliable and is not suited for working remotely.)

Your rental includes a convenient ski locker at the base of the mountain during the winter season.

This rental does not have air-conditioning and is located on the second floor (with no neighbors above). The building does not have an elevator.

Person responsible for the booking must be at least 25 years of age.

THE LOCATION

The lifts are just a 6-minute walk from your front door.

In warmer months, stroll the Bull of the Woods Trail (450’ away), which winds its way to beautiful Wheeler Peak -- the highest point in New Mexico.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ideal Spot for a Family Ski Vacation

What a view - 3 floors of windows facing the mountain and the central plaza! Five of us enjoyed a wonderful week of skiing and relaxation in this spacious unit with enough room for everyone to spread out and also to prepare meals in this well-stocked kitchen. The lockers provided by the unit at the base of the mountain made the short walk back and forth most manageable. The covered parking was also conveniently located for easy in and out.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Super cute and awesome location! Loved this unit—it was decorated really cute and was comfortable. Kids loved playing chess each night. The only downside was housekeeping. The tables and chairs weren’t cleaned (had food/crumbs from last renters). There was also a bright orange bandana on living room floor—it was hard to miss....makes me wonder if they even cleaned the family room). There was also a used bath towel still hanging up in one of the bedrooms from last renters. Maybe the crew was short staffed.

Taos Mountain View Spacious Condo, Family from New Orleans

First time visit to Taos Ski Valley for our family of four from New Orleans. Stayed December 27, 2021 to January 7, 2022. The condo was spacious and comfortable for our family. Enjoyed the open floor plan combining the kitchen, dining, and den area. First bedroom and one bathroom is on the same level as the living area. Master bedroom And second bathroom is on the second level. And third bedroom is a loft on the third level. Rental vehicle is Needed because the grocery store and Walmart is a 30 minute drive each way. Taos Ski Valley is a 2 Hour Drive from the Santa Fe airport. Uber or Lyft is not available or has very limited availability. Four-wheel-drive rental vehicle is highly recommended due to the ice and snow on the 10 mile winding Road going up to Taos Ski Valley. Used our walking shoes to carry our boots to and from the ski locker at the bottom of the mountain every day. The ski locker is in a perfect location down stairs from the chairlift #1. It is about a six minute walk from this condo to chairlift #1. Chairlift #1 is a high speed quad lift but the other chairlifts are slower. We mainly skied down Lift #1 & 2 all day And skied 40 lifts and 63 miles on Thursday, January 6 which was so much fun. Make sure to download the Ikon Pass app to track your statistics. Management was very responsive through text communication. The weather was cloudy and snowing on our first week but clear and sunny during the second week which was beautiful. Suggestions 1. Master bathroom needs soap dish holder and ledge or shelf for shampoo bottles 2. Master bedroom needs TV 3. Kitchen Needs quality thick paper towels Which we purchased from the grocery store 4. Two bathrooms need quality (2 ply) toilet paper, Not one ply Which we purchased from the grocery store Highly recommended for at least a 7 day to 10 day ski trip for families, friends, and solo skiers. We would rent this condo again in the future.

Perfect location for a ski vacation, even better than expected

We all really enjoyed this condo. Spacious and well decorated, it felt and functioned like a home, even with 8 of us. With a short walk to the lifts and lockers at the base, it was very convenient. Also appreciated was the well-stocked kitchen...plenty of spices, cookware, and appliances to make our chefs happy! The only shortcoming is the lack of closet space and separate bathroom for the Master bedroom. But there was closet space and a shared bathroom just outside the master.

Great condo, access is difficult for the distance to lifts

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Management company provided insufficient supply of items such as dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels.
