Can you imagine sitting on the patio while taking in a great view overlooking Lead, enjoying a night under the stars with friends and family, cooking a great meal while on your ATV or snowmobile vacation, or just enjoying a perfect spot as your base camp for your forest and National Park tour? Welcome to Enchanted on Main where this dream can be a reality. This historic Victorian style property is located just off the main street in Lead, SD on a hillside overlooking the town below. It's located in the heart of the northern Hills recreational corridor where there's an abundance of snowmobile trails, ATV/UTV trails, skiing/snowboarding, and amazing events in Deadwood! In just 15 minutes you can be enjoying the casino's/restaurants/events in Deadwood, or fly fishing and taking in the waterfall hikes in Spearfish Canyon. In about an hour's drive, you can also be enjoying some major Black Hills attractions like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, Hill City and more! It's a great spot to come back to when enjoying everything the Black Hills has to offer.

The property itself is a beautifully decorated and spacious getaway. With 3,000 sq. ft. of living space, you'll have room to spread out! The historic craftsmanship is abundant throughout the property, while each room has its own formal space. The living, kitchen, and dining rooms are all on the main level, while the bedrooms are on the upper level. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and modern amenities making it great for making meals together with your friends and family. There's a wrap-around covered front deck with a great view, and a patio on the side of the property with a gas grill for those days grilling and enjoying the sun.

Great part of town

Loved it. Great spot for family and pretty quiet for Main Street. Parking was easy, house was very nice and well-equipped. Only negative is that there were a lot of stairs, so anyone with accessibility needs may want to look elsewhere. Great stay for us!

Very elegant

This home was beautiful! Very large open space on bottom floor and 4 bedrooms upstairs. We had a group of 6 and the 1 shower served well with hot water for everyone! It was a nice quiet stay in an enchanted home.

Beautiful Victorian home. Stained glass windows and lots of character. Very comfortable and clean. If steps are hard for you, this might not be the place for you.

Beautiful place to stay. Elegant accommodations from a bygone era. Very clean and comfortable beds. Is on Main Street and construction directly across street with jackhammer was noisy but not a fault of accommodations. No corkscrew or wine glasses which I hope will be corrected.

Amazing house

I initially thought it was a bit far from Sturgis rally but later decided it was nice to be that far away from the craziness turned out to be perfect, and just a 20 minute ride so not far at all. It’s one of those houses you drive by and wish you could see what the inside looks like, it did not disappoint. Old charm with all the modern conveniences. Lovely home.

Quiet, beautiful, large home!

Reviewer Comments: This home has all the amazing, detailed craftsmanship from over 100 years ago! We enjoyed staying here. I do have a few suggestions but that doesn't mean I didn't like the house. There needs to be room darkening blinds in the bedroom that faces east! The kitchen needs a few more items to help it be functional: scraper, good pairing knife, cutting board, measuring spoons/cups. A few family friendly games & a deck of cards would be nice. There was a sign on the laundry room door that said to stay out even though the pictures showed it available. A text from me asking about this was never answered. A roofing crew arrived unannounced at 7:30 AM on the morning we were checking out. Forewarning would have been nice.
