Great communication, many issues
The communication from the owner was fantastic, from booking through the stay. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood at the very top of the hill. Street parking and very steep.
At check in, there was hair on the pillows in the master bedroom and on both bed sheets. The carpets and futon couch were visibly dirty and needed swept. The toaster oven had crumbs on the cookie sheet as well. I messaged the owner and he just said the sheets are clean. The kitchen hardly had anything, including no coffee mugs or a frying pan (we were going to make dinner).
My daughter slept on the futon couch and there were extra sheets, but only a thin blanket for her to use and no shades over the sliding door. The queen bed in the second bedroom was comfortable but it squeaked so loud, it woke the whole house up whenever you moved. The beds were very comfortable.
As non-pet people, there was a distinct pet smell through the whole house. There was also a mouse running around the counters and oven on our last night.
