Home was lovely and very clean. Master bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The patio area outside was picturesque and perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This place worked perfect for seeing Santa Fe. Close to restaurants and Old Town Santa Fe for site seeing. We went to the Balloon Fiesta 2 days and it was only an hour away. We hiked in the mountains one day.We loved all the artwork and furnishings in their home and the patio is pleasant and peaceful. GREAT PLACE !

5 Star Home & Location

Beautifully decorated home. It has every amenity you could possibly need. Kudos to Rose, who had the house ready to go for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Location is right off the trail that takes you to the Railyard. And not a bad walk to Santa Fe Plaza. Try the Tune Up Cafe. Four-five blocks from the house. We really liked it. And La Choza. Within easy walking distance right off the trail.

John Allen has a great westside home. Perfect amenities, furnishings, kitchenware, etc. We are Santa Feans who need a rental for a few days while our house was being worked on, and this home was perfect for us.

Fun Time In Santa Fe

The location of the unit was great although at first the neighborhood seemed a bit dodgy. Cute house with an artist's sense of design. Would be easier with lockbox instead of having to meet person at the property. Overall a great house and great experience!

Amazing property and host!!

This gorgeous, centrally located home felt like a visit hosted by a dear friend. Gorgeous Christmas decorations, warm and welcoming ambience and well stocked in all areas. The home was so nicely decorated plus plush amenities I truly felt like we were staying with a dear friend. Location is excellent for activities in town center, museums, shops and restaurants as well as visiting the pueblos. We felt like locals, not tourists. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful home

A very clean and nicely decorated home in a quiet area. Very comfortable with plenty of space. My only criticism is with the communication - tried a couple of times to message the host with no response. The only way to contact the property manager to arrange check in was by phone and she was not always available (in fairness, when she was she was very nice). I didn’t have a SIM card for my phone that included voice, only data, so making phone calls was a fraught exercise that could have been avoided by the use of email. There was no info provided on check out procedures or disposal of garbage, both would have been helpful. We were very happy with the space, the communication just needs to be improved.

This was the perfect place for our stay. The house was spotless and very well maintained and decorated. It is in a nice neighborhood and close enough to walk to the Railyard and even downtown. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Nice house with a patio

A well furnished, good looking house. In late summer the patio is a great place to hang out in the morning and evening. There’s a working keyboard for any musicians out there. Beds and furniture are comfortable, the TV setup with Roku is fine. The one drawback is that there are no screens for the excellent French doors, so can’t get much airflow into the house. We thought that maybe there could be a custom screen that rolls or slides in front of the bedroom door when it’s open. Otherwise, my wife and I were very comfortable here during our 10 day stay. And we walked the nearby trail to the rail yard a couple times.

Best place to stay in Santa Fe

This house was exactly as pictured on vrbo! It was bright and cheerful with good natural lighting. The rooms were all spacious, the furnishings and wall art were reflective of the Santa Fe culture. The outside spaces were comfortable and private, complete with cushions on the chairs and a color coordinated large umbrella for shade. The beds were comfortable, and the bed linens were of high quality. The only suggestion for improvement is to add grab bars in the tub/showers of each bathroom. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect home, Perfect location

We stayed in Johns VRBO for the month of April and we couldn’t have been happier. The condition, the comfort, the amenities were perfect. When we walked in the first night and saw how beautiful it was we knew we had made the perfect decision on where to stay in Santa Fe. Located in a residential neighborhood, but within walking distance to the Rail Yard and Historic Santa Fe and a close jump onto highways, this home is perfectly situated to enjoy Santa Fe and the area around it. We used it as a jumping off point for day trips to National Monuments, the areas pueblos, and the surrounding communities as well as visiting the local sites. With 1 block of the home you have access to a very nice biking/walking trail . We used it daily to wander up into town or go grocery shopping Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s is an easy walk). The neighborhood itself has a Liquor store(2 blocks,( small grocery ( 3 blocks) and two restaurants ( Tune Up Cafe(3 blocks) and LA Choza( short walk on trail and our favorite!). It’s really a perfect location. Our favorite amenities of this beautifully decorated home: comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, showers with super hot water, the large patio.,.. the quiet! This home was so quiet and peaceful. Home is immaculately cared for by Rose who will greet you upon your arrival and can be hired to make a meal. Communication from both John and Rose was top notch . We hope to return.

Santa Fe has a charm and 'vibe' that is addictive - one of the most artistically stimulating places in the world - the natural beauty, native Hispanic and Native American heritage, and lovely people permeate this place with positive, creative energy. I bought this house and renovated it thinking I would move back to Santa Fe permanently. Although my work has taken me elsewhere, this house is a treasure and I love to share it. My primary work has been the restoration and renovation of the interiors of several historic churches including the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis 1 block from the historic Santa Fe Plaza as well as San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church on the plaza in Old Town Albuquerque.
