Welcome to our lodge, located on the esteemed Lakeside Drive! If you are looking for the best lake views AND mountain views in town, you have come to the right place! This log beauty is perched roughly 30 feet above Shadow Mountain Lake, and boasts not only panoramic views of the lake, but also postcard perfect views of famous "Baldy Peak" from every lakeside window!

* Please note, after booking this cabin will be referred to as the "5BR/3BA Lakeside Cabin" in any email prompts you receive.

* Brand new log construction as of March 2022!

* Brand new VRBO listing as of May 2022!

* 5 bedroom/3 bath construction, with beds for 12! Perfect for large families, or for 2 or 3 smaller families!

* Secluded, yet close to town! You may go all day without a vehicle driving by, yet we are roughly 1/4 mile from the entrance to Grand Lake!

* Take in the views of the lake and mountains from the deck, which has several rocking chairs, a porch swing, and dining for 12!

* All main level windows are remote operated, so you can wake up and enjoy the views with the click of a button!

* Gameroom with pool table and big screen tv!

* Stay connected with 1200 MGPS internet!

* 3 King posturepedic beds!

* Hot tub with amazing views!

* Deck has a fire pit!

* Pack-n-Play, and baby gate for those little vacationers!

* These elevated views required a fairly steep driveway. 4WD will usually be necessary in winter.

* Back yard has a gas grill AND a smoker!

* For those booking with pets: After your booking, reach out to me to declare your pet(s) I will then charge the card you booked with, the $125 taxable pet fee.

Cozy Cabin, Gorgeous Setting, Wonderful Host

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin! The location is absolutely stunning—waking up to the peaceful views of the lake each morning was a real treat. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything our family needed for a comfortable getaway. We especially loved spending time on the deck, grilling, and making s’mores by the fire pit in the evenings.The owner was wonderful—very responsive and thoughtful, with great recommendations for local activities. Our kids also had a blast. It was the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and make lasting family memories.We can’t recommend this cabin highly enough and hope to return again soon!

Amazing memories!!!!!!

The property was well appointed with amazing views! We had a very special family weekend playing games and enjoying the porch, looking over the lake, fires at night in the fireplace, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, working through any small issues with the property manager with EASE!!! He was very attentive and overall a 5 star weekend!

Breathtaking Views

We absolutely loved the cabin, it was perfect for our family with the kids rooms attached to a game room downstairs and the adults had a large living room and kitchen upstairs between those rooms. The view was absolutely spectacular!

Grand Stay in Grand Lake!

WOW, where to start? I booked this place a few months in advance, and dreamed about the views every day leading up to our stay. Let me just say - they did NOT disappoint. The views were indeed spectacular, but what truly made this a great stay was the beauty and overall vibe of the cabin. Clean, well appointed, well stocked, and incredible location. It felt so private, but a short 4 minute drive took us to the charming town of Grand Lake. A short 6 minute drive took us to the Western entry of Rocky Mountain National Park. An even shorter 2 minute drive took us to the liquor store ;) The newly built cabin impressed us with its wood accents, comfortable couch, comfortable bed, good sized kitchen, fun game room in the basement, and relaxing hot tub with the best views. This place definitely intends to host several families, but it also makes a great stay for a couple’s getaway. Last but not least was the communication with the owner, Cam. The detailed welcome emails, many explanatory signs throughout the home, and two pieces of laminated paper on the kitchen island. One giving every detail necessary for our stay, and the other providing Cam’s narrative on building the cabin, which was fun (and impressive) to read. We fell in love with the cabin, views, and town of Grand Lake. We hope to stay again soon!

Awesomeness

Stunning mountain views, and of shadow Mountain Lake. Probably the best view on the lake. The lodge cabin was amazing and had everything we needed, beautifully decorated. Peaceful and serene and convenient location to historic Grand Lake town. Highly recommended this place.

Wonderful Home in Grand Lake

This is our second year staying at this cabin and it is by far our favorite vacation mountain retreat! The location and views can’t be beat, and Cam was great to work with, as always. We will be back again next year for sure!

Quick fun mountain get away!!

This place is Amazing!! The pictures are amazing but so much more in person. Everything is there, a big beautiful Christmas tree, awesome kitchen with everything you need. We came to cook and eat, all pans, utilizes, gadgets, everything was there and amazing gas stove. Hot tub was heated and easy to use, towels provided downstairs for use in hot tub. So well furnished, I can’t say enough great things about this amazing stay!! Wrap around deck and views of lake and mountains as snow is falling. It was fantastic and highly recommended!!! Thank YOU so much for making our get away Perfect!!! We will return.

Beautiful Cabin; Beautiful view

This was a family trip of 11 from South Florida; first time for snow for some and it did not disappoint. The cabin is very beautiful, modern, and easily accommodated our group. The view facing the lake with the backdrop of the mountains made for some great drone footage. The communication with the property owner (Cam) was great before, during, and after our stay. There were some mishaps (caused by my group) and the property owner worked with me to get it resolved. All in all, I highly recommend.

Grand Lake House

Had a couple small issues with cleanliness and the hot tub needed help. Cam was awesome in rectifying everything and was a great host. I would certainly rent his home again as it's really beautiful.

Excellent Luxury Property

We had a guy trip to ride snowmobiles. This property was great for luxury. The view over the lake is amazing. Everything was perfect.

Outstanding property and host

This rental provided us with everything we were looking for. My partner and I have a toddler. My sister, her partner, her 11yo, and 9yo joined us for a quant Thanksgiving staycation. Comfortable beds, couches, and hot tub. Excellent quality and finish throughout the home. A large dining room table and ample space to lie on the sofa gave us the confidence we could all be in the same area. The pool table in the rec room was an excellent place for the kids to expand into. We were very pleased. Thank you, Cam!

Howdy! We are Cam and Emily, and we hope you enjoy our home! A little about ourselves... Cam dabbles in several different businesses. He is a real estate investor, both in long term rentals and vacation rentals, and he also owns his own personal training business. His hobbies include flying, hunting big game, snowmobiling, dirt biking, off-roading, working out, volunteering in kid's ministry in church and anything outdoors with Emily and their 2 puppies. Emily works for an interior design company, and helps clients design their finishes in their newly built homes. In her free time she enjoys working out, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with the dogs (and Cam of course!). We have fallen in love with Grand Lake, and hope that our guests come to love it here as much as we do!

This location is the best! It's near the end of a dead end road, so while you are less than a half mile to the entrance of Grand Lake, you can go all day without seeing another car. And you are right on the water so you get to hear all the water activities etc, and then Mount Baldy is perfectly situated in the background. In fact the entrance to our drive is where people stop and take all the pics of Mt Baldy nestled above the lake. It's just gorgeous!

This cabin has it all! It's a combination of rustic log with modern touches. It's so warm and cozy, you just can't help but relax. And watching the sun come up over Baldy in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck, well, you just can't beat that!
