Arbor Hill-Renovated Bungalow-Midtown location close to everything

Completely Renovated Bungalow with hardwood floor charm and modern updates. 1st floor consist of the kitchen, dinning room, living room, bathroom and 1st bedroom Floor in main bath is heated. Kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking.
2nd flood has bedroom 2 & 3 with a large office area. It is best suited for mobile individuals due to slightly steep stairs. *no bathroom upstairs.
The basement has the 2nd bathroom, laundry area and another tv area with the futon.
Wonderful outdoor space with fire pit, gas fire table, mature tree and full fence for privacy.
Off street parking, but no garage access. Room for at lease 2 cars to park at the top of the driveway.

The interior steps are best to be navigated by mobile individuals due to the age of the house.

Close to UNMC, Creighton University, UNO, CHI Arena, TD Ameritrade Park, Henry Doorly Zoo, Children's Museum, Durham Museum, Lauritzen Gardens, Blackstone, Aksarben and Downtown. Stay just 10 minutes from Berkshire Hathaway events, CWS and Creighton events!

Annual Girls Trip!

This home really is close to everything! Within 10 minutes to get to all of the spots we hit during our stay. Lynda was so responsive and helpful. I had quite a few questions about where best to go and she was a trooper with the follow up. And thanks for the great tip on the parking app! Having rented a car, this made paying for parking a breeze. The backyard is such a great space to hang out and relax. We found ourselves out there both in the morning before starting our day and the evening to end our day. Kitchen and linen adequately stocked, and the place was very clean. Definitely flagging this home for any future stays in that area!

Awesome Location

We came from San Diego for a baseball tournament for our 13 year olds. The location was amazing as it was 15 minutes from everything. House was super cozy and well stocked. The backyard is beautiful and I loved everything about this house. Highly recommended.

Great for what we needed

My friends and I had a nice time staying here. We all live in different states and wanted a centrally located place to meet for the weekend and catch up. Lynda was friendly and responsive. The space had plenty of living room seating, as well as a large table we used for eating and games.

Cozy older house with some issues.

This is an older home that has some rooms have been renovated. The main floor has a remodeled kitchen, main floor MBR, bathroom and LR. The upstairs contains two bedrooms and a working area with a desk. The basement has a narrow living area and Bath/Washer/Dryer area that also has a cellar exit. Pros: nice house overall with cozy appealCons: safety issue with the stairwell to the basement. The owner has made the stairwell compliant with 11" - 12" steps, but has 4" - 5" nose overhangs on the steps. The overhang makes the steps effectively 7" and dangerous for anyone with a foot larger than a male size 9. I fell down the steps the first morning after waking from sleep. It was because the balls of my feet overhung the steps. I got rug burns on the insides of my arms as I fell booty first down the steps.Annoyances: 1) the kitchen sink has a pullout faucet that does not recede properly. The owner needs to move the weight further up to address that item 2) the living room has old walls where the paint is peeling and cracking. I took pictures to make sure I was not blamed for any of thatOverall this is a nice property with some added features to make one's stay comfortable.

Family friendly

The location was perfect for what we needed, great house if you have Littles. We loved the enclosed backyard with the fire so we could sit and enjoy while our kids ran around. Lynda was incredibly communicative and worked with us if we needed anything.

Perfectly Placed

This home was so lovely to stay in. We came into town for a concert and we learned very quickly that everywhere we wanted to go in all directions was less than 10 minutes away. From the Zoo, the BlackStone District, Downtown and the airport. You'll love this home, the rooms were great and the living room's sound system made watching TV in downtime super enjoyable. This host was very responsive for any questions. I'd strongly recommend this home to anyone coming to experience Omaha.

Stayed in the fall

The vrbo was great only downfall is the stairs gping upstairs and to the basement are very steep. So going to the bathroom in the middle of the nigjt was difficult. But the layout was great and we had every we needed

Nice cozy home in the middle of town

We had a wonderful stay as a family in the house. It is in a wonderful neighborhood and is a great property. It does have steep stairs, which was not a problem for my family, but something you should be aware of. Our only complaint is that the futon bed in the basement was not comfortable to sleep on. All other beds and bedding were fantastic. The host was very responsive to our questions and the property was in excellent condition.

Omaha stay

There was plenty of room for our group of 6. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The most understated part was the back yard for the kids to play. The host was very prompt with directions and check in process. Overall I would rent this property again.

Nice place near downtown Omaha

A charming house only a few minutes from downtown Omaha. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount and variety of kitchenware. Everyone who was with us agreed that it was a nice place, and we would consider renting it again if the opportunity arose.

4th of july family vacation

The property was great!! Just wouldn't recommend over the 4th. The neighborhood enjoys their fireworks so much, it sounded like a warzone until 2am each night. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and essentials. The living area was comfortable and there were so many places to sit. Would definitely go back, if returning to Omaha

Weekend away

Great home with a lot of charm. Fully stocked with all the necessities one could need during their stay. The owners were quick with responses and it was great meeting them in person. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay and close to everything. House was clean and well stocked. Host was great! We booked this house specifically because we were looking for two bathrooms since we were traveling with two couples. The house is older and there is no bathroom upstairs with two of the bedrooms. The second bathroom is in the basement and there is no bedroom down there. Also as an older house the stairs are steep with very narrow treads, so going up and down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is an adventure. Otherwise no complaints, just feel like future guests should know.

Comfortable!

Would stay again if we are in the area. Convenient location for our interests (Zoo, FunPlex and Children's Museum). Quiet street, comfortable beds, and spaces were just as described/pictured, plus a front porch!

Enjoyed our time at the house and back yard. Just a few minutes to every where we needed to go(downtown, zoo, car auction at event center) Had a miscommunication but everything was taken care of with no problems Lynda responded to all of our questions

4 night stay

I had some work meetings in Council Bluffs and decided to drive up from Texas with my family. We stayed at Arbor Hill and the house was perfect for our needs. The backyard was a nice touch and we ate dinner outside more than once. Uber and Door dash find this house easily which is nice. There is a fully stocked toy box on the back porch which provided great entertainment for the kids when they were not at the zoo or museums. Overall we had a great stay and this house had everything we needed.

Great place near the Zoo!

Everything was super easy and clean! Was super close to the zoo and had plenty of food options near by. The host even had and list of places nearby that was very helpful!

This is a solid midtown location. We still know most of the neighbors and are happy to still provide this home to others.

Old world charm with slightly steep stairs, but the best outdoor area and kitchen/Living area for families/friends to gather.
