Queen size tempurpedic mattress (firm), full kitchen, washer/dryer, coffee maker, and humidifier. Work from mountain paradise with Super fast Wifi and a work desk. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal.

Awesome visit back to Creede to see the closing shows at Creede Rep Theater!! Our little cabin right in the heart of everything was perfect! A great starting spot for our daily hikes, near all our favorite restaurants, across the street from Mass on Saturday afternoon and a short walk to the theaters. Thanks Melissa for a wonderful 4 nights!! We will be back.

I found the Fran to be very enjoyable to stay at. A convenient location in Creede, you will have a short walk wherever you want to go in town. The cabin was clean and comfortable, which seems to be rare at VRBO’s anymore. It is quiet even though it’s on the main street through town. Mel is easy to reach since she is a local. She sings at local restaurants. If you get a chance, go have a listen. She has a great voice. I go to Creede every year so the Fran will be my choice from now on.

Great location with all the amenities. Staying at the Fran allowed me to enjoy day hikes in the mountains as well as explore Creede during the off season.

Great Cabin Retreat

Cabin was great for a weekend getaway. Very clean and accurately portrayed in photos. Washer/Dryer was a plus when we got caught in a rainstorm! Creede is a fun town, friendly people and unique shops.

Convenient and cozy stay in Creede

Very close to everything that one could want in the down town area. Entire town was within walking distance, and the property manager was most accomodating. A very pleasant stay.

Convenient, comfortable, ideal

Enjoyed being within walking distance of anything in Creede. Loved the front porch, which allowed us to chat with passersby and neighbors in the nextdoor cabin Appreciated the history of this cabin.

Fan review

The Fran has a great location, very walkable to all areas. It does let in noises from the street. It was very clean and comfortable. Communication very available but not needed. The additional service fees were high particularly given the rules that the quest was expected to do all dishes and had limits in use of soap, toilet paper and paper towels.

Historic Cabin - great location!

We loved staying in this charming historic cabin in downtown Creede. Lovely wood paneling throughout the cabin. It was cool inside even when warm outside. Washer and dryer was a bonus. The front porch was a great place to sit in the morning,have coffee and watch all the people with boats, 4-wheelers, etc head out of town for the day's adventure. We also sat there in the evening as well. So close to downtown and all the restaurants, so it was easy to stop at the cabin throughout the day and drop off our shopping bags, or change clothes after a hike, and go back out. Owner was very responsive when we added a day at the last minute. We would absolutely stay there again.

Great rustic cabin in the heart of Creede

This property was very spacious and clean and has a great location - truly can walk to everything in town. All the kitchen appliances were very modern and liked to tankless water heater - always and abundance of hot water for showers. Also appreciated having a washer and dryer. The owner answered every question we had very promptly. Overall a good place for our first stay in Creede.

A Nostalgic and Wonderful Stay in Creede

Our stay at Melissa’s property in downtown Creede was nothing short of wonderful. This charming house, which is over a century old, served as our cozy headquarters during our brief stay. It was a joy to return to a place that holds so many childhood memories for me, and this house was one I had walked by many times in the past. The location of the house is perfect, nestled in the heart of Creede, allowing us easy access to the town and the stunning San Juan Mountains. The scenery was breathtaking, with majestic mountains and cascading waterfalls that added to the beauty of our surroundings. It was a delight to share these natural wonders with my wife. Although we didn’t have much contact with Melissa, our stay was seamless and everything we needed was provided. The house was clean, comfortable, and full of character, adding to the charm of our trip. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a historic and well-preserved property. It made our trip all the more special. Thank you, Melissa, for a memorable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful Accommodation!

We enjoyed our stay in the Fran a great deal. Everything was as described. The kitchen was great for meal preparation, everything was spotless upon our arrival, the bed was comfortable and there was ample space for the two of us. The location is perfect for walks through town and to restaurants. We would love to stay there again. Thank you!
