Peaceful cottage tucked away in beautiful Mattapoisett. Located only 1 mile from Ned’s Point Lighthouse, the town beach and pier, this quiet getaway truly has something to offer for everyone. Multiple restaurants such as Turk’s Seafood, the Mattapoisett Inn and Rustico are located right near the property and you are only 9 miles from historic seaport New Bedford. Cape Cod is also a quick drive away making this property a spectacular location to get that “on the Cape” feel without dealing that “on the Cape” traffic. *please note there is 1 video doorbell at the front door and one security camera on the barroom overlooking the back yard. The outdoor shower is seasonal and is shut off in September to prevent freezing pipes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris's place. The cottage was perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed and we would 100% stay there again. We didn't get to use all of the amenities like the bar room in the shed but we hope we're back at some point soon. Chris was a great host.

Chris was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was super clean and the perfect spot for our wedding in Mattapoisett. Close to many restaurants and walking trails. Great stay!!

We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Mattapoisett Cottage! With 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, the cottage was perfect for 4 adults. We felt very relaxed in the private yard, enjoying the peaceful and quiet surroundings. The cottage is perfectly situated for walking and biking to local spots. We would definitely stay here again!

July Wedding Trip

Our family had a wonderful time at Chris’ place. When we had questions, he was quick to respond and place was clean and welcoming. Our 5 year old enjoyed the back yard and we had enough space to accommodate an unexpected friend who came in last minute for our friend’s wedding. We would stay here again.

The cottage was spacious, clean, attractively furnished and just perfect for our family of 3. The hydrangeas were in full bloom and it was beautiful. The backyard was private and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning with our coffee. Would certainly stay again. So close to the shoreline. Fished off Ned’s Point and enjoyed the ocean breeze. Super location!

Mattapoisett Cottage

We loved the Mattapoisett Cottage! We stayed four nights and loved it, especially the outdoor space, since we were lucky enough for a New England Indian Summer weekend. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The bathrooms clean with plenty of towels. If you’re looking to stay in the Mattapoisett/Marion area or are attending a wedding at Shining Tides, look no further.

Birthday Trip

Lovely cottage for a week stay to visit family and friends in the area. Perfect quiet location tucked back off the main road. We loved hosting happy hour in the backyard man cave! Chris was quick to respond to any issues that came up.

Peaceful

Very peaceful spot with privacy and a nice backyard. Everything i needed was in walking distance and the home was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back!

Great location and quiet

The cottage was perfectly located near Boston and Cape Cod, so we could go to the beach and a museum in the city. It’s located in a nice secluded area behind some beautiful flowers and trees. After a long day, the cottage felt very comfortable.

Perfect cottage for small family

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was the perfect space for our family (2 kids under 11yo). We loved being able to walk to Oxford Creamery and get lobster rolls and ice cream. The Cottage was well maintained and very clean. Chris was also a very responsive host. 5/5 would recommend!

Contemporary open concept cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans. In the living room there is a home theatre with 70 inch smart TV and 5.1 surround sound system, ready for streaming. Surround sound system is Bluetooth compatible. Washer and dryer in the bathroom as pictured.

Outside enjoy the backyard with grill area, patio, hot/cold outdoor shower, fire pit and detached bar room.

On the property enjoy relaxing in the detached bar room fitted with couch, smart TV and sound bar. The space can be heated as well for colder nights.
