A lovely farmhouse located on 12 acres of farmland property. A view of nature offered greenery and beautiful lake make this house the place to be. So much to offer for anyone who is traveling and looking for a lovely place to stay and some peace and quiet. A great place for the family to gather. The house is open floor plan with two bedrooms upstairs (railroad style as you have to pass through loft to go downstairs). Fully decorated and basic amenities provided.

Love the farm house!

This was our third stay at the farm house. It is clean and super convenient to our family, who live nearby. We are a family of four with two teenage children and the bedroom and loft suit us well. The property is quiet and beautiful. We enjoy evening dinners and breakfasts outdoors near the great tree where there are a table and chairs and a fire pit. Kim - the owner is very responsive and helpful. We’ll be back!

Over the top!

My family was in Torrington for my dad's funeral. The house was extremely clean and organized. The open floor plan was so nice for our multiple family meals. The property was really beautiful with a pond and an outdoor seating area. We took a peaceful walk around the property every morning which was special treat for us. It was truly a great experience for my family even at a very difficult time.

Perfect spot for weekend retreat with friends

My friends and I stayed at aunty Phuong's farmhouse for a weekend, and it was the perfect spot for our little fall foliage getaway! The farmhouse was really cozy and had the perfect dining table for long nights of board games. The kitchen was well stocked. However, make sure to bring your own plastic wrap/tin foils if you anticipate needing these. The property also had a pond nearby, a swing set, and a zipline, all of which made our stay fantastic. The best part of all was all the stars you could see at night if the sky is clear. The host, aunty Phuong, was also very kind and sweet. We loved our conversations with her. Absolutely recommend this spot!

Had a great time with our family for my moms 95 birthday. We rented both houses . The land is awesome for kids to play we had 9 of them there.

Perfect for a quiet rest

This property was way better than expected. The pictures do not really do it justice. My sister and I stayed here with all our respective kids. The kids LOVED it. They called it their farmhouse (they generally detest hotels). Every morning they had a quick breakfast and then ran out to explore. This house is well set of the road and situated on gorgeous open land. It is perfect for letting kids just explore, dig, pretend. Downstairs was a whole chest of toys and games for rainy days. The house was cozy, beautiful, and really not too much for the kids to break. The washer and dryer was a huge help. The area is pleasant- lots of easy hikes and cute places to visit but mostly we were there to visit my brother. Highly recommend you check out Burr pond Beach just a bit away. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Air worked well once we figured it out. The check in process was the ONLY awful part. Not only could we not check in early but we still couldn't get in PAST check in time. We had melted groceries and melting kids. I do believe it was all a misunderstanding and hopefully won't happen in the future. The owner was super nice and very responsive and did her best to try to rectify things. Once we were checked in, we had a lovely time. As relaxing as it gets with kids.

We loved our little farmhouse!!!

What a perfect clean and relaxing home!!! We were so comfortable and cozy and felt right at home. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips!! We are definitely coming back here!!
