A charming 1920s Arts & Crafts Farmhouse in the Catskills Mountains recently renovated and updated with modern amenities. Conveniently located in Olive, between Woodstock and Phoenicia. Get away to the great outdoors by hiking, skiing or boarding. Walk or bike on the Ashokan Rail Trail along the Ashokan Reservoir.

This comfortable, luxurious, and cozy retreat is situated on a seven acre estate with a shared pool. Featuring three spacious bedrooms furnished with queen-sized beds, and an open living, and dining room invites for comfortable gatherings or as a work space. A fully equipped kitchen with a center island, and all necessary amenities with speedy Wifi & streaming capabilities throughout the house, all provide for a comfortable vacation or work stay.

Enjoy gorgeous mountain views - from the front porch of Little Silver. The firepit in the back yard also offers great sunset views of the mountain while you wind down from your day's adventures, stargazers delight.

Swim and relax the shared pool (between man and guest house) in the summer months, and enjoy the surrounding and private landscaping. The pool is open June 15-September 15.

‘Little Silver’ is located at 'Pohlhenge' a private seven acre estate in the charming hamlet of Boiceville, West of Woodstock. Five minutes from the Ashokan Rail Trail and the Catskills Interpretive Center with many great hiking trails nearby. Woodstock Village, 15 minutes away offers fun strolling with shopping, art, dining, and great restaurants like Shelter, Silvia, Red Onion,or Cucina, Yum Yum Noodles, or The Pub, The Bearsville Theater is a great concert venue also nearby.
Or sample the close by Bread Alone Bakery, Woodstock Brewery, Oliver's, Phoenicia Diner, Pizza 28, Phoenicia's Brio's Sportsbar, or Phoenician Steakhouse.

Great property for proximity and amenities

My family and friends loved staying here - Martin and Julie were fantastic and attentive hosts. They checked in on us and provided anything we needed. The home was spacious and met all of our needs. The porches, fire pit, and pool made the stay delightful. Additionally you’re close to all things you might need - grocery, downtown Woodstock, hiking and more. We loved staying here!

We all enjoyed very much Martin and Julie’s house. It is decorated with delightful details, it is very well curated, very clean and Martin has been lovely and so welcoming. Close to Woodstock and the ski resorts, it was an excellent choice, we will come back

Beautiful home away from home

My family and I really enjoyed our long weekend at the Little Silver. The house is tastefully decorated, meticulously maintained and had everything we needed. Martin and Julie are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location is very convenient, minutes to Hunter and Belleayre ski resorts and great local restaurants.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We spent a wonderful weekend in the Catskills, and Martin and Julie’s guesthouse served as the perfect home base. The house is clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the view from the front porch. The homeowners greeted us upon our arrival, and there were delicious goodies waiting for us in the kitchen (which were very much appreciated!) Overall, we loved our stay at the Little Silver Guest House, and we hope to visit again!

Excellent Getaway!

A gorgeous stay. Julie and Martin are wonderful hosts. The property was exactly as described - checkin/out super easy. It was a very relaxing stay in every way and the pool was delightful. Quick drive to the Ashokan Rail Trail for walking the dog, biking, running...While I prefer to keep this property to myself, I highly recommend a stay for anyone that is planning a visit to the Catskills.

Nice & Cozy place with beautiful views for the fall

Very cozy and clean place that is all recently renovated completely. The front view is nice scenic mountain view and looked amazing since we went there in the fall. Hosts are awesome and they made sure we had everything needed including the woods for the fire pit everyday. We will likely go again in fall!

Wonderful Ladies Trip

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the different sitting areas. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. Location was very convenient - close to Ashokan Reservoir, Bread Alone, and some of our fave restaurants in the area. Easy check in and great communication from our host. Thank you!

The Little Silver Guesthouse is the most adorable, well-equipped house. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The outdoor seating areas were quiet with spectacular views. The beds were super comfortable. The house was fully renovated and extremely clean. There were so many extra amenities. The location was convenient. Our hosts, Julie and Martin, were very gracious. We were greeted with a bottle of Champaign and a blueberry pie. I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Great home base for a weekend of skiing at Belleayre

We were very happy with our stay at The Little Silver Guesthouse. The house is spotless, comfortable and very well furnished. (Upon arrival, my 7-year-old declared, "this house is BEAUTIFUL!") It's an easy 15-20 minute drive to Belleayre, and Julie and Martin are very responsive and friendly hosts. It's clear they really care about the experience of their guests, and their house is right next door so they're close by if any issues arise. One thing to note is that the house is not far from a main road. We like to sleep with the windows open a bit (yes, even in winter) so we always bring a noise machine, which worked perfectly to cover any road noise. Checkout procedures here are notably less complicated than other homes we've stayed in--another plus!

Idyllic and Relaxing

Our stay at Julie and Martin's lovely Catskills guesthouse was delightful in every way. The house is newly, and beautifully, renovated, filled with light, and features stylish touches in every room. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, bedrooms are lovely with comfortable beds, and bathrooms are luxurious, with lots of plush towels. The layout is spacious, with lots of room for our family of four to spread out and not crowd one another. If you are coming to spend time outdoors, there are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the majestic mountain views or watch the wildlife (bunnies abounded on our visit), and the swimming pool is perfect for relaxing or playing in the water. You can easily walk down to the creek from the house. Little Silver is very conveniently located, with easy access to hiking trails (the Ashokan Rail Trail is very close), as well as the restaurants and cultural offerings of Woodstock/Phoenicia. Julie and Martin are excellent hosts, great communicators, and totally went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Highly recommend!
