Enjoy Alaska the Alaskan way! This new cozy secluded 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with in-floor heat just finished construction the beginning of 2022. Located just 15-20 minutes from the heart of Wasilla on Knik Goose Bay road on a private lot near the historic Tug Bar and Grill and Knik lake for swimming and summer family fun. Within minutes of beautiful views of the Chugach Mountain Range and a cozy fire pit to enjoy the land of the midnight sun all year round with no neighbors in sight! This apartment comfortably sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the bedroom as well as a futon in the living room area. Enjoy use of a washer and dryer, a full kitchen as well as a full bathroom. Located in half of our lightly used shop, you don’t have to worry about people or noise during your stay! We do have some baby items if requested.

Awesome experience

The apartment was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed plus. Heidi was very responsive to questions and gave us recommendations of places to visit. Even though it was outside of town, we would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have stayed here multiple times. Which really says it all! It's a fantastic , clean and very well equipped apartment. A lot of attention has been paid to the construction of the building as well as to all the details of what makes a stay exceptional. Love this place!

Quiet country retreat

We enjoyed a week’s respite from the hustle and bustle of big city life. Warm, in floor heating, a big comfy bed, and all the kitchen anyone could want. The owners kept the parking lot cleared of the mountains of snow. Very clean and well kept!

Perfect location and size!

My sister and I were traveling from quite a distance to attend a funeral and juggling multiple flights and time zones. The owner was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. We arrived VERY late one evening and it was so nice to have a seamless arrival to such a cozy place! It had everything we needed for kitchen and bathroom. The bed was soft and comfortable and extra blankets readily available for the pull out couch. Would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting area!

A Real Outback Hideaway

I made first mistake booking this home without realizing how far back it is from where I want to visit. It's wasting a lot of my time on the road. Another big mistake is that I didn't realize it doesn't have internet service at the home. Nowadays, who can live without internet, especially for travelers that need to catch up with work and travel plan at the end of the day? I had to drive about 30 minute to go to a cafe to return some important emails in the morning. To make things worse, my cell phone signal is not strong enough to support my communication at this place either. To be honest, the owner is really nice providing lots of good information with a binder. The home is spacious and comfortable. It's my own fault for not noticing it doesn't have internet from the beginning.

Midnight Sun magic!

This is a brand new apartment that has everything you'll need for a stay in Alaska. It's super clean and well stocked with everything you'll need. From a comfortable bed to a kitchen that has everything included but the food you want to prepare, you just couldn't ask for more! There's even a washer and dryer in case you need one. It just felt like home!
