Private home with 180 degree spectacular views of the Atlantic! Peaceful lanais and deck are great for a sunrise breakfast or BBQ tropical evening meal outdoors. The house is a five minute walk to a white powder beach that includes the Lochabar blue hole.
Amazing starlit sky! A telescope is available for enjoying the night sky. Flamingos migrate on a nearby salt pond just 5 min away.
The house location makes it easy to explore north or south Long Island. Fifteen minutes to Dean’s Blue Hole.

Great property in great location. Fantastic views from the living area. House is spacious with large living area, fully functional kitchen and large bedrooms with ensuites in each. Highly recommend. Local hosts were also helpful

Beautiful Home with a beautiful view!!

Our stay was amazing....check in was a breeze, the home was very clean, the views were astounding and communicating with the Knowles' was quite easy as they were only a phone call or message away. Mrs. Knowles even went above and beyond to secure a vehicle for us, we felt right at home! I would highly recommend staying at this property 10/10!!

Great Stay!

Everything was fantastic. The property manager was excellent with communication and the home offered everything we could ask for. Will definitely rent again in the future!

Beautiful property, ideally situated

This was a beautiful 2 BR property, well situated to access the southern beaches of Long Island. The kitchen was well stocked and the view from the main window in the living room or the porches was beautiful. The water is an unbelievable blue. The beds were comfortable and the layout worked out well for our family, including 2 boys- 8 and 10. Teresa and Charles were great hosts. They met us on the main road to show us the way to the house and showed us the basics. We only stayed here a few nights... next time we'll stay longer and take advantage of the kayaks they offer at the house. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

Long Island Vacation

The house was very comfortable with fantastic views .Charles and Teresa , the house managers, were accommodating. I highly recommend them for land and boat tours. We hope to return.

Spectacular Views!

Beautiful property nestled just above Lochabar. The house has everything you need for a week of fun on the beach! The management team was very helpful and available to answer any questions we had and was kind enough to wait to show us around after an extremely delayed day of travel!

Wonderful home, great location, tons of windows to view the sea

We adore The Flamingo's Nest! This visit was our third to Long Island and this was the best place we have stayed. We love the location- a few minutes walk to the beach, view of Clarencetown harbor and Atlantic behind it, but so close to other stuff like Dean's Blue Hole, Galloway, and just 25min to Gordon's. The house is lovely with so many windows and wrap around lanai with two covered patios making outside time easy. The owners use it thoughtfully and we especially appreciated the little things like: a clothes line, pegs for fishing rods, outdoor shower, telescope, all of the beautiful plants, and art representing the unique and special attributes of Long Island. If you are a bird lover you will be very pleased to wake up to all of their wonderful songs. The house is very functional with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and everything you need down to beach towels and yoga mats. The split level two-bedroom with in-suite bathrooms is very nice and provides enough space and privacy for everyone. Charles and Teresa are the best hosts. They make sure your every need is covered and they truly care about making sure your stay on the island is top notch. We only wish our stay was longer so that we could both relax more at the house and take advantage of some of the expertise Charles and Teresa have to offer- fishing and eco tours and maybe a stop at their fruit farm. We hope to be back on Long Island soon and when we do, The Flamingo's Nest is our first choice.

Killer Views

Nothing more relaxing than sitting out on the lanai feeling the breeze, looking at the sailboats anchored out, and that gorgeous water! Nice open floor plan with plenty of room. Each bedroom had it's own bath and were on either side of the kitchen for plenty of privacy. Charles and Teresa kept in good contact throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed the house and our stay!

A Stellar Gem

Teresa and Charles are wonderful, started off with great communication in the beginning of the booking and tours arrangement and even more delightful in person. They are super knowledgeable, thoughtful and help us to come into Long Island at ease. The house looks exactly like the pictures and even more picturesque view with sun rise every morning in the living room. Private beach , flamingos down the road . It is a gem ! Everything you will be hope for for a holiday home !

Great view and really clean

Our family had a great vacation here and the house was perfect with everything you need with a great view of Lochabar and a short walk to the beach. Charles and Teresa were fantastic and they also have a great sea safari boat tour. I highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay and can’t wait to stay again! The Pixler Family
