This great little getaway home is conveniently locate in the heart of Battle Lake. You will love the proximity to our many fine eateries downtown, gift shops, bike trail, Civil War Museum, Glendalough State Park, West Battle Lake public boat launch/beach and city dock.

Weekend family getaway

My husband, infant and I had a wonderful weekend away at this property. The place was perfect for our needs, super tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We felt at home and really enjoyed our time. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Nice quiet family getaway

This was the perfect spot for a short, weekend getaway. Walked around town, visited shops, and ate at local restaurants. Lakeside walk is just a short distance.

Great Place

We have family with a cabin on a lake in Battle Lake area. We decided to rent this home instead of cramming ourselves into the cabin. It worked out great…very convenient and provided us with a quiet place to stay with our 2 kids. I’d recommend!

Relaxing In Town

This was overall a great property for our stay in Battle Lake. We could easily walk to the cute downtown area and had ample space in the backyard and kitchen. The only downsides were that the house is next to a fairly busy street and seating in the dining/living room area is only for 4. However, these didnt dampen our stay and we had a very relaxing weekend getaway.

Battle Lake Home SWEET Home

Very sweet home that was just perfect for me, however there is room for at least 6. Lovely quiet safe neighborhood, 2 blocks from downtown shopping and restaurants, 2 blocks from lakeshore walkway and start of Glendalough Trail. Accurate listing, everything in good working order. Comfy bed in main floor bedroom.

Cozy in the neighborhood

Stayed three nights in this cute, Victorianesque home in Battle Lake. Immaculately clean, well supplied, amazing kitchen. Loved the yard flowers, front porch rocker. Not ideal for elder guests with any mobility issues because of multiple floor levels and original, cramped stairwell.

Great place for a girls' weekend!

This charming, well located house was perfect for a girls' weekend! The house is cozy, yet roomy enough for numerous people to spread out and have their own space. We liked the decor, thought the couch was extremely comfortable for lounging, and were surprised at how huge the entry way was (convenient for multiple people coming and/or going). All of Battle Lake's restaurants and shops are within just a few blocks, and make it easy for back-and-forth outings. The shops in Otter Tail are an easy drive away. We would come back!

old home but remodel nicely. a/c did not work too well upstairs. big fly's were all over, property manager did nothing for it. garage disposal was broken and smelled bad.

The property was perfect for us! A very well stocked kitchen. I always bring supplies so I can cook (pans, knife, measuring spoons, ect.) but I did not need any of it. Very clean. It felt like home away from home.

Great location!

This was my first time using VRBO, and I was not disappointed. The location is great, several restaurants within walking distance and close to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. We had room for all the 4 of us plus a 1 year old. It was unseasonably hot for June so we were happy there was central air conditioning! Kitchen was ready to cook anything...great selection of pots/pans, plates etc. I would stay here again anytime I visit family.

Great stay! Lots of amenities and fun place to be.

We had a great reunion of friends this weekend. The house had all the stated amenities and the host provided lots of lovely extra touches to make our stay welcome. The kitchen was well stocked to make a meal easily. We loved the outside seating area and the fire table. Her gardens are beautiful. We appreciated being so close to downtown restaurants and shops as well as close to all the outdoor fun of the lakes. Thanks so much!
